Singapore Airlines is Singapore's national airline with the primary hub at Singapore Changi Airport. The airline is famous for using Singapore Girls as a central figure in corporate branding. Singapore Airlines has been awarded as the world's best airline by Skytrax four times and has been ranked as the best airline in Travel & Leisure for more than 20 years.

At the beginning of its founding in 1947, the embryo of the Singapore Airlines airline was Malayan Airways. After Singapore broke away from Malaysia, it triggered the split of Malayan Airways into Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines.
