  • There are some examples of items that are prohibited to be carried inside your carry-on baggage include lighter fluid, oxygen bottles, fireworks, paints, and tear gas. Personal items are allowed only in limited quantities such as hairspray, deodorant, fragrance, and medicines. For check-in baggage, it is prohibited to carry potential harmful and dangerous things (e.g., explosive, compressed gases, oxidizers, corrosives, flammable liquids and solids, firearms, radioactive materials, poisons, and any other hazardous materials).

Travel Protocol
During the period of adaptation of new habits, all purchases of Lion Air (JT), Wings Air (IW), and Batik Air (ID) tickets will follow the provisions of the SE Task Force for Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 No.7/2020 concerning Criteria and Requirements for People's Travel During the Adaptation Period New Habits Towards a Productive and Safe Society Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and other related regulations.

Lion Air Group prospective passengers with a flight period starting from 22 June 2020, must:

  • Arrive at the airport early, which is 4 hours before departure.
  • Showing a valid identity card (KTP or other ID),
  • Show a PCR test certificate with a negative result (validity period of 7 days) or a Rapid Test certificate with a non-reactive result (validity period of 3 days) upon departure.
  • For areas that do not have PCR/Rapid Test facilities, they are required to show a certificate of freedom from symptoms such as influenza (influenza-like illness) from doctors in hospitals/health centers.

Requirements needed to enter and exit the city/region or region:
Domestic Direct & Transit

  • PDG destination is required to bring a Rapid non-reactive test result or a negative PCR/SWAB test result, as well as:
  1. Departure: A letter of introduction from the head of the RT domicile concerned.
  2. Arrival: Fill out the checklist, statement of the availability of independent quarantine, and RT report when they arrive at their destination.
  • CGK & HLP destination is required to bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results.
  • DPS destination is required to bring negative PCR/SWAB test results and fill out and complete the form here.
  • BPN destination:
  1. Passengers with an East Kalimantan KTP with Balikpapan's destination are required to bring Rapid non-reactive test results.
  2. Passengers with non-Kalimantan KTPs with destinations other than Balikpapan must show two times Rapid Test Covid-19 and must bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results.
  3. Passengers are required to bring an Influenza Symptom-free letter issued by the health facility and proven by a written statement from the Head of the local District or City Health Service.
  • MDC destination must bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results according to designated health facilities and take the Covid-19 Rapid Test at the airport (arrival).
  • DJJ destination must bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results and complete the following requirements:
  1. Departure: Rapid Test valid for seven days, CoR-19 PCR valid for ten days, have SPKM.
  2. Arrival: Covid-19 Rapid Test valid for seven days, Covid-19 PCR valid for ten days, Papua KTP, served/worked in Papua.
  • SOQ destination must bring Rapid non-reactive test results. Specifically for arrivals, they must have an entry permit and complete the requirements according to regional quarantine criteria, attach a working certificate or other information according to their interests.
  • TIM destination:
  1. Departure: Passengers are required to bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results and Travel Requests that are valid seven days after publication, which can be accessed here. Certificate of Domicile from the Kelurahan. Specifically, agencies/PNS/TNI/POLRI must attach an assignment letter.
  2. Passengers with a Mimika KTP must do the non-reactive Rapid Test Covid-19; have an Entry Permit, which can be accessed here.
  3. Passengers with non-Mimika KTPs are required to bring negative PCR/SWAB test results; have an Entry Permit, which can be accessed here.
  • GTO destination is required to bring a Rapid non-reactive test result or a negative PCR/SWAB test result. Specifically for GTO arrivals, you must have an Entry Permit valid for three days, be accessed here, or download the "Sekitar Kita" application.
  • NTT to other cities/regions and vice versa must bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results, and Influenza Symptom-Free Letters.
  • TRK destination
  1. If passengers only bring Rapid non-reactive test results or Influenza Symptom-Free Letters, they are required to undergo PCR Covid-19 test at Tarakan City Hospital or Tarakan District Hospital or quarantine in hotels/lodging/mess for 14 days that are independently funded at the time arrival
  2. If passengers only bring negative PCR/SWAB test results, they are not required to undergo quarantine.
  • BEJ destination is required to bring negative PCR/SWAB test results.
  1. Arrivals from outside of East Kalimantan: If the PCR COVID-19 test results do not show, quarantine is required at own expense for 14 days at the designated place or return to the area of ​​origin.
  2. Arrival from within one region of East Kalimantan:
  3. a) If the body temperature is more than 37.5 degrees Celsius, the PCR COVID-19 health test is available at your own expense or back to the area of ​​origin.
  4. b) Willing undergo 14 days of independent quarantine monitored by the Berau District COVID 19 Task Force to the local RT level.
  • WMX destination is required to bring Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results
  1. Departure:
  2. a) A travel recommendation letter can be accessed here.
  3. b)Tests for Rapid Test Covid-19 non-reactive results valid for seven days upon departure.
  4. c) Specifically, agencies/PNS/TNI/POLRI must attach a letter of assignment and sent it to the Secretariat of COVID Post -19 Jayawijaya Regency.
  5. d) Those who will travel outside Papua must obtain a permit from the Government of the Papua Province, and those who do not have a Papua KTP must fill in a statement not to return to Papua for one year.
  6. Arrival:
  7. a) From outside Papua, it must show negative PCR/SWAB health test results with a validity period of 10 days at the time of departure.
  8. b) From one area (intra) in Papua: certificate of Rapid Test COVID-19, non-reactive results are valid for seven days upon departure.
  9. c) Have a Jayawijaya entry permit, which is accessed here.
  10. d) Sending documents required documents to 0812 1990 0579.
  • City destinations other than those mentioned above are required to bring a health certificate with Rapid non-reactive test results or negative PCR/SWAB test results that are adjusted to the provisions of the city/region of origin and the city/region of destination.

    Refund

    Refunds for Lion Air, Batik Air and Wings Air are not currently given in cash, but in the form of EMD / Travel Vouchers.  Refund submission must be made before your initial travel date. The conditions for submitting an EMD / Travel Vouchers refund are as follows:

    Other Conditions:

    * Submission of an EMD / Travel Voucher refund can be made until 30 June 2020. Submissions made on or after 1 July 2020 will be subject to a refund fee in accordance with the normal refund application requirements according to the provisions of each airline.

    * EMD / Travel Vouchers redemption can only be done at the Lion Air representative office (can check at www.lionair.co.id).
    * EMD / Travel Vouchers can only be used to purchase names that are stated on the initial ticket.

    * EMD / Travel Voucher redemption can only be exchanged by the voucher holder according to the passenger's name printed on the initial ticket, with verification of the identity card (National Identity Card / passport)

    * 1 (one) Voucher number can only be redeemed for 1 (one) passenger.

    * Prepaid Baggage that has been purchased previously is still valid and can be used for the same passenger name on the next flight.
    * If the price of a new ticket is greater than the value of the given EMD / Travel Voucher, the difference will be paid by the passenger. If the new ticket price is lower than the given EMD / Travel Voucher, then the price difference will not be given to the passenger.

    * EMD / Travel Vouchers can be exchanged for cash at the Lion Air Tower / Airline Representative office with the note that exchanges can only be made by passengers whose names are listed on the EMD / Travel Voucher and attach a copy of identity card (KTP / passport).

     

    How to Apply for an EMD / Travel Voucher Issuance:

    Reschedule

    • Rescheduling fee will be waived.
    • Free rescheduling is only valid once before 1 July 2020. Submissions on / after 1 July 2020 apply normal regulations according to the provisions of each airline.
    • If the ticket price on the new date is higher then the price difference will be charged to the customer
    • New travel dates up to 31 October 2020
    • Customers who are still unable to confirm a new departure schedule, can submit a departure delay for 3 months
    • Rescheduling and submission of departure delays must be done before the initial passenger travel date
    • Rescheduling and departure delays can be made through the Call Center or Lion Air Group ticket counters.
