Etihad Airways

Etihad Airways is the second-largest airline in the UAE (after Emirates), which began operations in November 2003. The airline is headquartered in the City of Khalifa, Abu Dhabi, and is primarily based at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Etihad Airways operates more than 1,000 flights per week to more than 120 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia, and America, with 117 fleets of Airbus and Boeing in February 2018.

Etihad Airways was established as the second airline of the United Arab Emirates in July 2003 based on the Royal Decree (Amiri) issued by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The airline was established because of that Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan wanted an airline for Abu Dhabi. Etihad Airways was launched with an initial capital of AED500 million and made a ceremonial flight on November 5, 2003, on the route to Al Ain.

On November 12, 2003, the airline officially operated as a commercial flight by launching services to Beirut, Lebanon. Before the founding of Etihad, Gulf Air was an airline based at Abu Dhabi International Airport and also jointly owned by Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.

Apart from being a means of transportation that transports passengers and cargo, Etihad also operates Etihad Holidays and established its airline alliance, Etihad Airways Partners, in October 2015, which was dissolved in 2018 after several members fell into financial difficulties. Etihad Airways has a minority equity investment in participating airlines, as well as holding shares in Virgin Australia, which is not officially registered as an Etihad Airways Partner.

In June 2019, Etihad Airways served 81 passenger and cargo destinations throughout Africa, Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia from its center at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Before ending São Paulo's services at the end of March 2017, Etihad Airways was one of the few airlines that has passenger services on six continents.

Etihad Airways Flight Class

Etihad Airways focuses on serving the trade routes of Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and North America using a combination of 97 passenger aircraft equipped with five fleets of cargo passengers. Economy class

Economy Class offers comfort with a variety of supporting facilities such as blankets, in-flight entertainment, free food and drinks, and much more.

• Economy Class - Economy Standard
  

1. Passengers who have Economy Deal, Saver, or Classic tickets will be chosen by the airline.
2. However, passengers can still select their seats as desired with additional costs.
3. Economy class passengers will get free food in the airplane and entertainment from the TV screen in front of the seat.

• Economy Class - Economy Space
  

1. If you want wider and more comfortable legroom, up to 36 inches, passengers can increase Economy Standard tickets to Economy Space.
2. Other facilities remain the same as Economy Standard.

• Economy Class - Economy Neighbor-Free

1. Economy Neighbor-Free has more room than other economy classes.
2. Passengers can choose several "neighboring" or adjacent seats to be vacant (1-3 seat choice).
3. Other facilities are the same as Economy Standard.

• Business Class - Business Studio

5. Seats in a private room that can be turned into a 6 foot, 8-inch bed.
6. There is a closed cupboard, a separate dining table, and a small table.

5. A seat that can be turned into a flatbed.
6. Direct access to the hallway.

• Business Class - Business Seats

The First Class

Passengers will feel they are in a private suite complete with leather chairs and full facilities. The First Class offers a variety of a la carte menus, a line of fine wines, and Chef Inflight.

• First Class - First Apartment (fleet A380)

1. Each passenger will get a room (called First Apartment) containing a 6-foot, 10-inch bed, and a separate armchair.
2. Six of First apartments are connected, making it suitable for you who want to travel in groups and share time on a flight.
3. Every First Apartment is equipped with a vanity unit that has a vanity mirror with lights. There are also free casual clothes that you can wear as well as a closet to hang your clothes.
4. First Class passengers have access to a First Class bathroom with a luxurious design and shower room equipped with private facilities.
   

• First Class - First Suite

1. Each passenger gets their leather seat that can be turned into a 6 foot, 8-inch bed.
2. Available wardrobe and beverage cabinet.
3. Each seating space is equipped with a closing door to give you more personal space.
4. There is also a 23-24 inch flat screen TV (different for each fleet) and magazines for you to read.
5. Etihad Airways provides free internet connections in the aircraft.
6. First Suite is also equipped with a lobby inspired by the hotel lobby design. You can gather with friends and family or hold a meeting here.
7. Each passenger will get an amenity kit in their room.

The Residence

The Residence is only available on A380 aircraft designed for two guests with a luxurious design, such as a three-bedroom apartment in the sky. This class has an ensuite bathroom, private bedroom, and separate living room. VIP Travel Concierge and special teams will take care of all passenger needs during the trip, from limousines to private waiting rooms at private airports. The Residence serves flights with destinations to and from Abu Dhabi, London, New York, Sydney, Paris, and Seoul.

• The only flight class in the world that provides three rooms for each passenger.
• There is a living room (Living Room) equipped with a sofa for two people, a 32-inch flat-screen TV, and a Sennheiser headset that can reduce noise while eating delicious food.
