SriLankan Airlines is a national airline of Sri Lanka and a member of the Oneworld airline alliance. The airline began operating in 1979 under the company Air Lanka. Cabin Baggage

Public policy
- Every passenger must occupy the seat which is determined during check-in.

Expectant Mother Policy
- Passengers who are pregnant must bring a medical certificate issued within 3 (three) days before the departure date.
- Passengers who are pregnant must consult their obstetrician or personal midwife before boarding the flight.
- Air travel permits will only be granted for:
- Uncomplicated singleton pregnancy: 36 weeks gestation (for flights up to 4 hours) and 35 weeks gestation (for flights more than 4 hours)
- Multiple pregnancy/complications: 32 weeks gestation (for flights up to 4 hours) and 28 weeks gestation (for flights more than 4 hours)

Specific Medical Condition Policy
- Passengers with the following conditions must have medical clearance from SriLankan Airlines before flying:
- Passengers suffering from diseases that are believed to be contagious and contagious.
- Passengers exhibiting unusual behavior due to illness or physical condition could adversely affect the welfare and comfort of other passengers and/or crew or could be considered a potential hazard to flight safety or punctuality.
- Passengers who require medical treatment and/or special equipment to maintain their health during the flight.

Infants and Children Policy
- An infant must be at least 7 (seven) days old to travel.
- Infants under two years old and on an adult's lap must pay 10% of the adult rate.
- Infants over the age of two must purchase a full ticket.
- SriLankan Airlines provides diapers, baby food, baby baskets, and special diaper changing boards in the toilets.
- SriLankan Airlines has trained cabin crew to care for children during flights. Don't hesitate to ask for help while on the plane.
- Passengers are allowed to bring a collapsible basket or stroller.
- Adults traveling with infants are not allowed to sit on Exit Row seats.

Unaccompanied Minors
- All children aged 5 (five) to 11 years old can travel alone with the Unaccompanied Minors service.
- Children aged 5 (five) years and above can be accepted for all sectors. Children aged 6 (six) to 11 years inclusive are acceptable for any multi-sector flight, including interline/transfer travel.
- At the request of a parent/guardian, young passengers who are children between the ages of 12 and 15 years (up to their 16th birthday) and traveling alone will be assisted in the same way as Unaccompanied Minors.
- Tickets for Unaccompanied Minors cannot be purchased online. Please contact the airline's Global Contact Center or at the nearest ticket office.

Please arrive at the departure terminal at least 90 minutes before take-off for domestic flights and at least 2 hours for international flights.
Check-in counter would be closed 45 minutes before take-off.
