Thai Lion Mentari Co., Ltd, or better known as Thai Lion Air, is a low-cost Thai airline operating with a Thai partner as an associate company of Lion Air Group, along with Lion Air, Wings Air, Batik Air, Lion Bizjet, and Malindo Air. The airline operates and is headquartered at Bangkok's Don Mueang International Airport and serves scheduled domestic and international flights from other cities in Thailand.
The inaugural Thai Lion flight starts on December 4, 2013, with the flight route Bangkok - Chiang Mai. Thai Lion Air signed an agreement with Lion Air's fellow subsidiary, Malindo Air, on December 10, 2013, which allows the two airlines to serve international flights between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

There are some examples of items that are prohibited to be carried inside your carry-on baggage include lighter fluid, oxygen bottles, fireworks, paints, and tear gas. Personal items are allowed only in limited quantities such as hairspray, deodorant, fragrance, and medicines. For check-in baggage, it is prohibited to carry potential harmful and dangerous things (e.g., explosive, compressed gases, oxidizers, corrosives, flammable liquids and solids, firearms, radioactive materials, poisons, and any other hazardous materials).
Cabin baggage allowance is a maximum of 7 kg, while check-in baggage allowance is a maximum of 20 kg.
Register your baggage in advance at the check-in counter before your flight.
Every passenger must occupy the seat which is determined during check-in.
Carry-on baggage must be put in luggage compartment or below the passenger’s seat.

Refunds for Thai Lion Airlines are not currently given in cash, but in the form of Travel Voucher / Credit. The conditions for submitting a Travel Voucher / Credit refund are as follows:

Early Flying Period : On / after 31 July 2020
Flight Routes : All international & domestic routes
Term of Travel Voucher / Credit : 365 calendar days from the date of departure on the latest ticket
Other Condition:
* Travel Voucher / Credit redemption is done within 365 calendar days from the date of departure.
* Change fee and fare difference will be paid (If any)
