A beautiful lodge apartment with excellent facilities. Definitely the choice of places to stay in this gorgeous little town. The host, Lindy, was lovely and we would have been happy to spend many more than the two nights we had in 1770.

The Bali style was very relaxing. We did not get an upper level room so the view did not include much water views but apart from that all excellent!

This was a great place to stay. We chose this place as it is pet friendly and allowed us to bring our dogs. The rooms were clean and comfortable and very close to the beach. The host Jane was fantastic and very friendly. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend 😊😊

Two thumbs up, would visit again. I was lucky enough to snag the Nusa Dua room. Actually it's a full palatial suite fit for a king, queen or any other gender neutral regal. Seriously, if you can't make, maintain or mend a relationship here you have problems no mortal can overcome. The lodge is close to everything but far enough away that noise isn't an issue. The town itself is a dream.

We booked this weekend at short notice on Expedia and being Australia Day long weekend, all the big resorts were already booked, so we went with this one. Not only was it cheaper, we had a look at all the big expensive places at 1770 and they are all a long way from the beach and other services. Sovereign Lodge Resort was perfect. A minute walk to the beach, a minute walk to the pub. A minute walk to the restaurant and only 3 minutes walk to the pier where the snorkeling tour to the islands set off from. Wonderful apartment and we saved heaps by being able to bring some provisions and prepare some food ourselves. Comfortable bed and couch. Everything was there and we wanted for nothing.

I really liked the layout, the location is great and property is wonderful with a pool, great sleeping layout and size. Very kind and polite manager. There were some general maintenance issues that do need attention however, such as flickering lights in bathroom, very dirty dishwasher that is no longer cleaning the dishes adequately, dirty freezer in one fridge and another fridge did not have a working freezer so need to be careful from a food safety perspective. An outdoor chair was fraying so need replacing and there was a chair missing in the inner dining table. There is no washing facility, so couldn't clean clothes and this was an oversight of mine as I was expecting it for this size property and for more duration stays, however would have been nice.
