It was an amazing stay with my fur baby. Phillip was welcoming, friendly & helpful with sharing information. Cabin is surrounded by nature. Peace & quiet. Relaxing. Short beautiful walk to the dogs beach.

Highly recommend An oasis to detox from consumerism and the hustle and bustle. Nestled in the forest, this accommodation encourages contemplation, relaxation and engagement with nature. Walking to the beach was fantastic! Thank you!

Our stay here was wonderful from the very beginning. Phil was so helpful, he even walked us to our cabin instead of just giving us directions which does not often happen these days. Phil also called us the morning after we checked in to see if he could provide us with any advice on activities we could do while in Byron and have us good restaurant advise. Other reviews said that the place was a little run down but I did not think that at all, the cabins were exactly what I would have expected from a rainforest resort, they blended in instead of sticking out like most modern architecture and had all the basics you required. The walk to the beach was lovely, the dog really enjoyed it. The surf can be a bit rough so it you are looking for a good place to take your dog and have a swim the Ballina spit was excellent half hour trip south . The pool was also great to relax around after a busy morning and it was the perfect temperature. This place is perfect if you want to experience Byron but want to be a little removed from the hustle and bustle of a tourist town. Conveniently 5 minute down the road is a small supermarket, delicious Indian and excellent pies at the bakery. Overall a great stay !!

Nice rainforest stay. Phillip the host is very lovely and helpful. Rooms are from the 80s. Loved waking up in the morning drawing back the curtains and watching the sun filter through the trees & listening to the birds. Pool ok, but it is July. It’s heated. Table tennis & fire in common area was a nice touch. Kitchen in the2nd bedroom is a bit weird but we made it work. Main bed very comfortable. Would stay here again. Bit far from town but I also liked that. Great morning walk to the beach. Wish I could have stayed longer.

This property is a very nice respite tucked away in the rainforest. It is extremely quiet away from the hustle of byron but only a few min out of town (too far to walk but close to suffolk park). The facility is older, but the cabins are clean, the property is clean, linens and beds are comfortable, and it is PET FRIENDLY. This is a HUGE selling point for me. There are very few truly pet friendly places to stay, nice big screened in porch. Very modern and updated pool with lovely night lighting and heated. Short but a little confusing forest walk to the beach (signs would be good?). The manager is extremely friendly and helpful, provided excelling dining suggestions, and easy check in/out at our convenience. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

We stayed for 3 nights here & loved the cabin we were given. It had everything you needed & it was well placed to be able to drive to Ballina, Mullumbimby & of course Byron Bay. Phillip had some great ideas for dinner venues & we were very pleased with the one we went to. So much to do & see & with the placement it was a great choice for us.

Un cottage en bois en bois spacieux au milieu de la végétation tropicale. 1 chambre séparée et un coin cuisine salon avec 2 lits une place. Propre et bien équipé. Parfait pour passer un bon moment au contact de la nature. Wifi pas très performant ce jour là. Philippe est très accueillant et vous donnera plein de conseils. Bon rapport qualit/prix. Je recommande.

I loved this place. You cabin is surrounded by rainforest and quite private. At night you could see the stars as you lay in bed and in the morning you wake up to the birds twittering. It really suited me. It is only a kilometre to the beach but it is more of a surf beach than a place to swim. I wouldn't recommend this place if you like the finer things in life. Accommodation is clean but very basic.
