When we arrived, everything was prepared, and the key was instantly located. There is plenty of room for our overnight stay, and it's light and airy. Plenty of coffee and tea options are available, and the room is very clean throughout. We are happy with the supplies for our complimentary continental breakfast. 100 blackout curtains functioned. The comfortable bed was so comfy that we didn't wake up until 8 am, which is unusual for both of us. Great location, a short distance from town, a peaceful area with only birdsong to do in the evenings. I enjoyed the wildlife in the feeders and had great views of the river valley. If wifi was available, I would have given it 5 stars.

We had a really good experience when we arrived, even though we stayed for two nights but we could have stayed longer. When we arrived, we were given directions on how to find the key. Our room was big and very clean, and we immediately felt at ease. There is a kettle, toaster, microwave, and the regular tea and coffee milk provided. Continental breakfast is organized. Including toast with cereal fruit, orange juice, and bread. Outdoor seating and a table are available for enjoying a drink and watching the birds. We were able to sleep better thanks to the removal of curtains.

We had a wonderful vacation here, and wed return anytime. Our host, Barbara, was a delight. The room was spacious, spotless, and equipped with a basic kitchen item microwave, kettle, toaster, sink, and a veranda with a lovely outlook of the gardens and the river. It was bliss just sitting outside watching the birds come in to graze, having some nibbles and a drink on the verandah, and taking in the tranquility of the setting during the gorgeous weather. Expect to walk from here down the river, or even return into town. There is no footpath, and I would not advise walking on the road since it is all about him. Its really simple to walk back to town or the river park and walk from there. When we first entered, the driveway was a little difficult to find. Look for the tweed cottage sign and the lodge follows the same crossover but dips down to the right.

I strongly suggest Tweed Valley Lodge. We only stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. We will definitely stay there again. Tweed Valley Lodge was so peaceful and beautiful. The unit was clean and large, and included a continental breakfast in the price. The bed was also very comfortable.
