The owners were very kind, friendly, and served a delicious breakfast. The space was very interestingly decorated, and it felt like a Victorian-era curiosity shop!

This is a true Bed and BREAKFAST. So many B&B’s these days offer mediocre breakfast at best. The Coach House had an amazing breakfast! The house has excellent architecture and wonderful hosts. St. Stephen’s has a lovely walking area along the river. We will return on a future trip to Canada!

Awesome breakfast. Friendly hosts made our stay extremely enjoyable. Owners have 3 very cute (and sweet) french bulldogs that joined us for breakfast each morning. Highly recommend this b&b if you're open to something different and quaint.

This was very comfortable and beautiful house! Our hosts were charming, and we enjoyed chatting with them! Their 3 Frenchies are adorable! And the breakfast was outstanding! I would highly recommend this place, and plan to stay there on our next trip!

The breakfast spread was outstanding! Way more than we could eat and huge variety. The décor is compelling with fine art and collectibles on display in every room. The hosts are wonderful people and very accommodating. A must stay in St. Stephen.

You just have to stay here to understand. Unique quirky house and hosts. Wonderful breakfast led to stimulating conversation when our hosts joined at the very end. 9 day vacation with 9 locations, this one was the most memorable. Would go back in an instant.

Hosts Fred and Bert could not have been more welcoming. I truly felt like a guest in their home. The accommodations are comfortable and the house is fascinating. Breakfast is amazing! This will be my first choice any time I'm looking for an overnight in the area. Thank you Fred and Bert!

The proprietors of the Coach House are phenomenal! The property is a truly delightful B&B, quaint and charming, but the hosts are the cream of the crop, incredibly accommodating and friendly, without being obtrusive. The 'breakfast' was more like a brunch, with almost any thing one could want, and then some! We didn't have time to enjoy the beautiful garden behind the inn, but it was gorgeous to gaze at, through our window. And, inside, you won't run out of curios and knick-knacks to catch your eye. A wonderful experience for my wife and I

We found Fred the manager to be bossy and intrusive. The room was very cluttered. We were advised that breakfast was only served at 8:00 am instead of 8:00-10:00am. We were then awakened from sleep at 8:00 am. We didn’t go to breakfast so we have no comment. We liked the bathroom across the hall. The bed was comfortable. The room was air conditioned. The grounds were lovely; however, we won’t be returning.

Just the art and antiques in the house alone is worth the experience. The fact that Bert and Fred are such hands on proprietors, making sure all you needs and wants are exceeded, all the while happy to chat and share experiences, makes this a very special BnB.

An absolute gem! After reading other reviews, I knew that we were in for a treat and our stay did not disappoint. The hosts, Fred and Bert were kind and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The home made breakfast was delicious (with many, many options to choose) and made even more special with a beautiful dining room, lovely dishes and wonderful conversation. This was our best stay by far on this trip. Highly recommend. Thank you for sharing your home and hospitality. Well done!

I would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast. Fred and Bert were very gracious hosts. The house is an eclectic mix of collections and styles. The grounds are very well thought out and well cared for. Breakfast was beyond my expectations. Our hosts gave us several options for dinner and things to do and see in the area. We had intended to stay on our way home but unfortunately, we had not made reservations and they were unable to accommodate us. I would plan to stay here when I return to the area. I highly recommend the Coach House B&B to anyone staying in this area.

Nice place, very clean, owners are very friendly and accommodating. The bed has a footboard and headboard and likely would be difficult for anyone over 6’2 to sleep comfortably with a partner. The food was great, we would definitely return.
