Di bulan Agustus 2024, saya dan ibu menginap semalam di hotel ini karena tertarik dengan penampakan hotel ini di media sosial. Ditambah lagi dengan lokasinya yang berada di tengah-tengah pusat turisme yaitu di Kota Lama Semarang. Jadi, awal tahun 2025, kami memutuskan untuk kembali menginap di sini satu malam. Kalau sebelumnya kami booking BLENDUK ROOM agar dapat pemandangan gereja Blenduk dari jendela kamar, maka sekarang yang biasa aja. Tapi saya gak menyangka juga sih kalau pemandangannya itu menghadap ke deretan bangunan restoran Spiegel dan lainnya, di bagian belakang banget plus kamar yang ini jauh dari lift. Walau pemandangannya kurang enak dilihat tapi dari segi kenyamanan sama saja seperti Blenduk Room yang pernah kami tempati sebelumnya. Mendapatkan kamar di lantai 2, kami mendapatkan totte bag (seperti sebelumnya) yang berisi amenities selama menginap. Oh ya, kalau sabun dan shampoo ya tidak diberikan dalam bentuk wadah terpisah. Melainkan sudah nempel di dinding kamar mandi. Dalam hotel ini juga tersedia restoran (tempat kami sarapan) yaitu Cemil Dining, lalu kedai kopi: Kobi’s Brew serta dessert pudding dan es krim: Purinku Puding. Lobby-nya bisa buat nongkrong baik bagi tamu hotel dan pengunjung umum. Bisa ngopi-ngopi sambil melihat turis lalu lalang di sekitaran Kota Lama. Di hotel ini juga terdapat tempat penyewaan loker serta ada giftshop juga, IMHO cocok kalau ingin membeli oleh-oleh tapi gak punya banyak waktu jalan-jalan di Semarang. Kalau masih kuat jalan kaki, hotel ini tidak jauh-jauh amat dari Stasiun Semarang Tawang; kurang lebih 10 menit dengan jalan kaki. Lokasinya juga letaknya strategis banget dalam Kota Lama Semarang, sebelahan dengan Spiegel, berseberangan dengan Indomaret, dan dekat dengan gereja Blenduk; makanya ada disediakan Blenduk Room. Hotel ini ok banget jika suka berada di tempat yg touristy & cafe hopping.
