We spent a week here in february 2023, and we had a great time. Dimond and his family are wonderful people who are extremely attentive and provide consistently excellent food and snorkeling guides. In the most ideal location ever, we also saw the birds of paradise! Dimond can arrange trips to all of our favorite spots in raja ampat, and it is near waisai. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!.

The location is literally heaven on earth! Cant wait to come back. Timon and his family were amazing hosts, had delicious local food and the scenery was literally like being in a hidden paradise. Snorkeling and diving trips to experience the most beautiful and breathtaking marine life in the world, in raja ampat. It doesnt get better!.

Makanannya luar biasa, berlimpah dan bervariasi (ikan pagi), keunggulan utama homestay! Untuk semua kunjungan kami, Timon siap membantu kami dalam organisasi dan mengarahkan kami ke Olga, yang mengelola pusat menyelam yang hebat. Mereka juga tahu cara memperkenalkan kami pada budaya Papua dan penduduknya yang selalu tersenyum dan ramah. Singkatnya, kami bersenang-senang dan kami tidak ingin meninggalkan sudut surgawi ini!

We stayed from august 11 to august 16, 2023. Timon is very polite and the place is very relaxing. We dived for 4 days on consecutive days and the weather and places were great! This is truly the last paradise! Ps. You can take a shower in this homestay without salty water and, believe me, its a great thing! We will be back! Marco & Barbara.

We had a great time. Timon, the host, was very helpful in organizing activities like snorkeling, diving, or bird watching. We are vegetarians and they made delicious vegetarian food for us. We missed our first night due to delayed flights and didnt have to pay for that night, something i wouldnt see happening while staying at a resort. The location is also very nice, local kids play around the house, looking for fish. And theres a beautiful house reef right in front of our stay, the best ive ever seen and i have traveled quite a bit.

I would definitely stay again. The front hut with a view of the water was amazing. Very peaceful, the bathrooms are nice, the common eating area is great and the food is delicious. The owner knew many people to book bird and dive tours with.

We traveled to Phuket with another family and thoroughly enjoyed this small retreat. The owner Simon and Helga go out of their way to make everybody feel at home. Its a friendly and family atmosphere and one of the best features is the dining area with a sandy floor. It's a great place where guests hang out and get to know one another. Some of the rooms are directly over the water, which is great if you want to be in nature.

The entire family and staff were very welcoming and always helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and quite luxurious compared to other homestays. The food was absolutely amazing. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us.

I stayed at this place for 6 nights and couldnt be happier. Timon is helping you with everything you need, from organizing excursions on the beach and at the sea to handing you over a pair of sunglasses if you accidentally lose yours as it happened to me! Helga, his wife, is an amazing chef who prepares delicious local food and a beautiful banana cake with the heart shape for an improvised but so lovely birthday party if you happen to be there for your birthday as it happened to me. The atmosphere is warm. You will feel like family with papuan staff. Great excursions, birds of paradise sight, a blue river that seems to belong to a fairy tale world, and more! Olga will arrange for the best for you if you are a diver. They are the diving center next door with 40 years of experience. At papuarts they have rooms overwater and in the garden. Clean shared showers and toilets or you can choose between 2 rooms with a private bathroom. Dolphins passed in front of the property. A beautiful and friendly village is within walking distance. 24 hour electricity is required. These are the people whose business we support. Stay here, you wont be disappointed! Only 30 minutes by car from waisai harbor. What more could you want?.

This homestay is perfect if youre looking for a pleasant stay near the waisai ferry 20 minutes by car. I really like this homestay because of the nice and cozy hut by the water, the clean shower and bathrooms, and the great chilling common area, which serves as a meeting place and restaurant. The food cooked at papuarts is absolutely amazing, even for us vegans. Tell them in advance what your dietary needs are. What a peaceful place with only the sound of waves, birds, and the wind. There is also a beautiful reef right outside your door. Unfortunately, at low tide it is not accessible at all and the visibility was not the best during our stay due to heavy rain.

The host, timon, his wife, and his team are the most hospitable and kind hosts ive ever encountered. PapuArts is a unique place with great attention to detail. It has cozy bungalows, delectable and diverse cuisine, and is ideal for diving and snorkeling. The philosophy of papuArts to engage locals and support local culture is inspiring and worthwhile. I worked remotely from there in the evenings, and it worked out really well.

Our family of five had a great time at papu arts Alter Native stay in raja ampat. We stayed in the villa with a bathroom for 11 nights. We loved the openair villa room with a view of the ocean and dining outside. Timon and his wife Helga were very helpful in setting up our ferry arrangements and excursions around sorong. Timon met us in sorong and took us around to get any baby supplies and snacks we might need. They helped us find rides and tour guides for scuba diving, snorkeling, a trip to the blue river, a waterfall, a visit to the saporkren village, the dragon fruit plantation, and even to the waisai night market. If you want to go on a bird hike, they offered to help you too. The food is the best part of our experience! It is fantastic, you wont go hungry. Our family enjoyed local indonesian fish and chicken dishes, and they even accommodated my vegetarian needs with tempeh and tofu. There are flush toilets and indoor or outdoor springfed showers. The water pressure is gravity fed, so it was soft but refreshing. Our kids, ages 9, 7, and 2, had a great time running around. The owners and staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the nature and history of the area. They looked after our children and welcomed us into their home. They even made extra accommodations that werent normally offered, based on our familys needs. They really went out of their way to ensure that we had a wonderful, unique experience. This was our second wonderful experience. We came with my wife and our youngest son. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. The cooking is fantastic, everything is freshly made every day, and everything is prepared as our mother would prepare it. Above all, the area is fantastic, with birds even on the trees above you. Diving from the shore is also simple and stunning, and you can see the flora and fauna as soon as you reach the reef. Our hosts were helpful and friendly, and it was the ideal place to live close to nature, eat fresh food, and enjoy the warmth and friendliness of the villagers. Thank you to all, timon and elga loic. We will be back for a third time!.
