The Miyamotoke was highly recommended to us. Thankfully our travel agency Geoplan was able to schedule our reservation. As long-time Sumo devotees, meeting my former Tsurugidake Tanuki was a very special experience. The cuisine, which was made from fresh and local ingredients, was excellent. Despite our limited knowledge of Japanese language, the stay was relaxing and unforgettable thanks to the kind efforts of the owner, the Okamisan, and the entire staff involved. highly commendable!.

I stayed here while visiting my son in Tokyo. I will remember it as a wonderful place. The staff was very kind and polite and made us feel at ease. The room we had was amazing. It was like going back in time but with all the modern amenities. The gardens were beautiful and there were so many interesting things to see. We enjoyed our own private bath as well as the shared bath. The food we had was delicious, beautifully presented and served with care. We cherished the time we spent here. Thank you very much!.
