I had a great time here and will try to get a room again when i visit japan in may 2014. In the quiet yanaka district, this ryokan is only a few minutes from jr nippori station, and right in front of the sendagi station by tokyo metro, which made organizing my trips around the greater tokyo region very easy. The friendly staff made me feel very welcome and helped whenever i had a question about transportation or the general tokyo area. The room i stayed in was a japanesestyle room with its own bathroom and tatami floor with a futon bed, quite a new experience for a man from germany.

Overall, a great place to stay while visiting to tokyo, great neighborhood, great rates, clean place, and friendly staff. Its not what youd think of as a traditional ryokan outside, but a concrete structure typical of so much modern japanese architecture. The rooms, however, are very nice tatami mats and futon sleeping arrangements with small baths. The rooms are clean, the staff is very helpful, they do have laundry machines, good wifi, and speak english.

Kami menghabiskan satu malam di ryokan yang terletak di distrik tradisional Yanaka. Kamarnya bersih dan luas. Di sisi lain, ryokan ini cukup jauh dari stasiun, tidak mudah untuk bergerak, apalagi membawa barang bawaan yang besar. Sarapannya enak tapi agak mahal. Sama seperti kamar. Bukan nilai terbaik untuk uang.

Kami sangat merekomendasikan hotel ini untuk semua orang yang mencari akomodasi murah. Hanya saja, peralatannya agak tua. Namun, tidak ada yang rusak dan semuanya sangat bersih. Saya pikir ini adalah hotel yang hanya berjarak 10 menit berjalan kaki dari Stasiun Nippori. Menurut saya, ini adalah hotel yang jaraknya hanya berjalan kaki singkat. Menurut saya, hotel ini bagus karena mudah diakses dari Bandara Narita. Harganya bagus! Saya berencana menggunakannya lagi lain kali.

Room was simple but clean and easy to stay in. Close to the SENDAGI train station. Shower pressure was amazing. If you are not used to sleeping on a tatami, know that it is on the firm side. Would stay here again.

Saya sangat merekomendasikan tempat ini. Sangat bagus dan sangat bersih. Lingkungannya sekitar tahun 80 an, Cium saya dengan gaya Licia dan saya sangat menikmati pengalaman ini (termasuk anak-anak saya). Futon yang sangat nyaman dan pemiliknya yang sangat baik. Pergi ke sana!

Saya berharap biaya akomodasi bisa sedikit lebih murah. Lokasinya bagus dan halte bus Megurin menuju Distrik Taito berada tepat di seberang jalan, yang membuat transportasi menjadi nyaman. Stasiun Sendagi di Jalur Chiyoda juga dekat.

The hotel staff was very friendly and respectful. The room was very nice traditional ryokan and the futons were the most comfortable we have slept in while in japan, the only downside is that it looks a bit old. But it is well connected to a train and metro station.

I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay for my first visit to tokyo and japan! Comfortable traditional rooms in a modern concrete structure, staffed by very nice and fluent englishspeaking proprietors. And the yanaka neighborhood is a unique part of tokyo that retains its old charm and is ideal for exploring. Easy access to both the jr and keisei lines at nippori station and the chiyoda line (subway) at sendagi station.

We had a great time and will definitely return! Strongly recommended for this one! We spent about a week at the kyutaro Annex ryokan in yaka ginza, tokio. Three people could fit in the room we reserved. It was really roomy, but we spent the majority of our time sightseeing. A small table, an air conditioner, and a few tea and coffee were all on the table. You can grab some additional coffee or use the singleuse razors at the front desk for free. You could also wash and dry your clothes. You can get detergent for free at the front desk. You must place an order for a small breakfast at the ryokan a day in advance. You can choose between a cooked breakfast, which is also a vegetarian option, and a noncooked one for about 800 1200 yen. This includes toast, multiple jam, coffee, and tea, eggs, bacon, or sausage if you have cooked breakfast. There is a convenience shop right in front of the ryokan, and a small supermarket is about 200 meters to the left. Yanaka ginza, a lovely little shopping street, is where the ryokan is located. There are small stores, primarily run by elderly people. You have the chance to meet the locals.

We had a great time at this immaculate and lovely ryokan. The proprietors are really helpful and speak english. Excellent neighborhood with lots of lovely cafes and eateries and winding, little streets. For breakfast, head to cibi across the street! Very close to the subway and yanaka ginza. In a heartbeat, i would return here.
