Our stay in Kyoto at the Resi Stay was wonderful. We were able to send some of our luggage ahead, and it was waiting for us at the check-in counter across the street from the train station, which is where you check in. We stayed in 1F and it was huge and very quiet, and it had laundry. We loved exploring Kyoto from this location, as it's so close to a very cute part. We only wish we made a better plan for seeing the rest of Kyoto. It's big and spread out.

This hotel is situated perfectly for walking, riding the train or taking the bus. The customer service is very good and they respond quickly to any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing property!!! The check in process was really easy, just be sure to check in at the Resi Stay office near Kyoto station and they will provide a complimentary shuttle back to the property. Our location in Gion was a large space for our group of three, and was very clean and modern. It was a short walk to the nearest station and their is plenty to do in the area. When we return to Kyoto, we would be happy to have a second stay at this amazing property, and would recommend it to all.

The RESI Stay GION was a lovely apartment to holiday in. It had everything you needed and was very clean and fresh. A great location near the train station, supermarket and lots of great restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend anyone staying here.

kindly take note that the check in location is different from the property address. Overall the premise is great for couples or small family. location is great. No daily housekeeping but sufficient towels are made available.

Great location, a 1-minute walk to nearest train station. Washer/dryer (in one - very cool!), great amenities, spacious apartment, provided all our needs and comforts in a very clean home away from home. Quiet neighborhood in Gion, 10-minute walk to Pontocho and lively neighborhood across the river. Going across to the check-in office is an extra step that is a little inconvenient, but the office is directly across from the Kyoto station so at least the location is convenient; the staff in the office was very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place to stay in Tokyo... especially with a family. Very clean. Nice view! Great kitchen, TVs, sitting area, washer / dryer. The only challenge was checking in at a separate location however that was a small price to pay for such a great overall experience!

I had a pleasant 3 night stay here. The check-in process was simple, but the apartment was also very modern and clean. Well-equipped, spacious, very modern, and clean. Could have had a sofa to make it more comfortable. There are two double beds, but they are in the same bedroom. The ideal location to explore Ludlow and Kyoto with stores right outside the door and fast transportation links nearby.

I stayed here for 3 nights and cant say enough good things about it! Its a short walk to the main area of shijo, and you can also take a nice walk by the kamo river! The place is huge, and i cant emphasize enough how great it is. There are 2 queen beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a laundry machine and detergent for your convenience, etc. The amenities were amazing, checkin and checkout were not hard at all, and i will definitely stay here again on my next visit!.

To be clear, this is not a hotel, but an apartment you're renting out. You must check in at an office building outside of the Kyoto station, as stated. Directions are provided, but the signs are in Japanese, so good luck finding the place. We walked around for an hour before someone came out to find us. It was a terrible experience. Everything is as advertised, but there isn't a dining table or living room. The bedroom is at the far end, and the bathroom is at the opposite end. Everything is as advertised, but some things to be aware of. There were 8 rather uncomfortable dining chairs in the kitchen, but no table. The only place to eat was on a counter too low to stand on and too tall. The bedroom was on the bed, without a family area, the only place to unwind was in the bedroom. There is no sofa or stuffed chairs for relaxation. If you speak and read Japanese, your stay will be more relaxing. Japanese channels was the only thing we could get to work. The location was nice, and walking to the shopping area and to the temple and pavilions was simple. Overall it was a terrible stay.
