No reception counter but personalized service. Staff sent message to ask for ETA and gave good directions and instructions to the apartment which otherwise could be confusing. No-fuss check-in at the apartment itself. Apartment in good condition. Overall, a good experience.

Jetty Suites Apartments are located within the same compound as Mahkota Hotel Melaka and is just a stone's throw away from Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. The unit is very well kept and amenities include: - full sized fridge - cooking hob - cooking utensils, basic set of cutlery and crockery - hot/cold drinking water dispenser - free wifi - cable TV (Astro) - basic toiletries (shampoo, body wash, soap) - bathing towels The common area can do with more maintenance but to be fair, it is not within the control of the Jetty Suites. There is an option to borrow a local smartphone to provide a data connection on the go (hotspot tethering capable) which I recommend. Calls and messages are payable but data is free (within reason e.g. no 4k video streaming). The staff is very friendly and helpful. As the staff is not located onsite, requests have to be prearranged e.g. housekeeping, replenishment of drinking water etc. but they have very good response times. Communication is via the loan smartphone mentioned above and calls to Jetty Suites service numbers are free. Do plan ahead and give them some lead time. My unit has 2 bedrooms with a queen sized bed in one room and 2 single beds in the other room. Both rooms have en suite bathrooms, one with a bathtub and the other with standing shower. The apartment can easily accommodate a family of 4-5 persons easily.

Aku menginap di Jetty Suites Apartments selama 2 minggu bersama keluargaku. Menurutku, tempat ini cocok banget buat sekeluarga. Saat kami sampai, kami langsung disambut oleh-oleh Mr Eric dan beliau menunjukkan lokasi kamar kami dan menjelaskan pt tempat ini. Lokasi jetty suites ini berdekatan dengan mahkota parade, dataran pahlawan dan bandaraya melaka. Kalau boleh aku bilang, kami sekeluarga puas banget sama tempat penginapan ini dan juga pelayanan dari Mr Eric kepada kami. Tapi saranku, mungkin akan hrdnya baik kalau ada microwave yang bisa memanaskan makanan. Aku dan keluarga pasti akan kembali lagi ke sini kalau berkunjung ke Melaka nanti karena tempat penginapan itu selesa dan menyenangkan untuk seisi keluarga.

This apartment is what the name implies. This is an apartment. There is no reception, no lobby. They will send you an email thank you describing the details of the room you have been assigned. Do not call them in time for your arrival so they can dispatch a personal to help you at the parking lot. They will then welcome you to the flat. The apartment is clean and spacious, with spotless towels and bedding. WiFi is strong, and the floor is clean. There is also a lot of clean water available. However, some issues that prevented me from giving it a full five star rating. The restrooms could use some upgrading. A home away from home has to feel more like a pleasant stay with some special memories. The owners of a recent home stay left some home-baked cakes as they suspected we might be hungry after a day of traveling. They also gave a simple loaf of bread with jam and a bottle of milk for a simple stay-at-home breakfast. These are simple gestures that make a home stay memorable. To check out, you also must call them, and they will come help you check out and take you to your car.

A recent home stay left some nice fond memories as the owners left some home baked cakes as they understood we might be hungry after a day of traveling. They also provide a simple loaf of bread with jam with jam complete with a bottle of milk for a simple stay-at-home breakfast. These little touches are what makes a home stay memorable. For check-out, you have to contact them, and they will come to help you check out and take you to the car.

However, there are some setbacks that prevented me from giving it a full 5 star rating. The restroom could use some renovation. A home stay away should feel better with a unique feel. The owners left some homemade cakes after a recent home stay as they realized that we might be hungry after a day of travel. For a straightforward stay-at-home breakfast, they also provided a simple loaf of bread with jam and a bottle of milk. These are tiny gestures that make a home stay memorable. You have to also call them when you check out, and they will accompany you check out and get you to your car.

The hotel is very accommodating and acceded to my request for a high floor unit. This is helpful especially when there was some minor hiccups- no towels and toiletries, cannot unlock the unit from outside. WiFi was also not working. On the plus side, the unit was reasonably big, has a very good view and is well maintained. On the whole, it was a pleasant stay.

Room was nice n neat. Only the beds were flimzy and check in was complicated as we had to call the agent to come and handover keys instead of the hotel check in. And not sure why they kept massaging and asking if i need this and that. Should improvise on customer relation skills as its not a professional way to deal with guest. Overall good stay.
