I have a nice experience while sat here. The atmosphere is quite different from the place that looks like a commercial place because of the garden. The staff here is young and they want to make our guests happy. Also, they provided a great food.

This small apartment was perfect for all our needs while in Guamaras. It was close to one of the lovely plazas in this city. After staying in hotels for many nights, it's nice to have a kitchen and a space. Everything worked, and we were able to do a few laundry. The one thing that was missing was a view of the square. Because of one way curvy, confusing streets in the medieval part of the city, parking was only a 5 minute walk away, but a 20 minute drive.

We couldn't have been happier with this location. Even though we arrived on a sunday when the office is not present, Paulo the manager made sure our check-in went smoothly. Our apartment was clean, bright, and extremely well-appointed. The bottle of water, coffee, tea, and chocolates were very much appreciated. The bed was cozy. Everything we required was in the apartment, including a washer and dryer, which after six weeks on the road we really needed. After several weeks without English, the huge array of channels, including bbd world news, can, and bbd entertainment, was also helpful. The apartment is situated in the historic enclave of Guimaraes, and all of the hottest attractions are just a short stroll away. A supermarket is just a five-minute stroll away, and there are many cafes close.

We had a great time at this cozy apartment in Guimaraes' historical heart. The apartment is elegantly furnished, and all of the amenities, notably the wonderful rooftop and dishwasher, are of the highest caliber. After several weeks of traveling, a washing machine was also a plus. Guimaraes is a stunning city, and we thought we were lucky to be close to it at this lovely apartment, especially because we were able to enjoy the excitement of the university students at the beginning of their year as well as the intriguing innovation of art, music, and play both on the streets and in the neighboring medieval homes. An added advantage is the terrace.

We stayed at Hotel Total, which is in a great location and close to everything, with the exception of the a little hard bed. However, the university frost was on, and the police locked all driving entrances to the old city. We spent two hours trying to figure out where to park and how to move our luggage to the hotel. The hotel was extremely helpful but not much they could do. When we eventually got that fixed, every beautiful square and corridor in the old city was full of students drinking, banging cans, chanting, crawling, and so on. It was beautiful to see but blocked everything you wanted to see. The next morning, we were able to see the sights before leaving, but it was rushed and not as enjoyable. Eat in a cozinha. It was fantastic. pricey but worth it. The previous night, we had dinner at a Michelin star restaurant and it was on par, if not slightly better. If it was in a larger city, I think Michelin would suggest it. The city is worth seeing, but only if your journey does not coincide with this university hazing ritual.
