Stayed for a night while visiting family. Was just what we needed at a great price. Bed was very comfortable and soft, facilities all worked well and were clean. Staff were all friendly, breakfast was tasty but there could have been more supply of food, we got there about mid-way through and was told a lot of the food options were already gone which was a shame. But otherwise everything was good and would come again when we are back to see family again.

Nothing can beat this little gem for a clean and economical place to stay in Canberra. We keep coming back, and although the decor is simple and dated the staff are proficient and friendly. They do a simple cooked breakfast which is included in the price, there’s ample parking and it’s right next to the German club with their German beers and massive pork knuckles. Great place to stay and close to Canberra Hospital.

It was our first time travelling since Covid, and we were pleasantly surprised by just how clean and hygienic the room felt. We immediately felt at ease and reassured.
Would recommend the hotel on all accounts - from a friendly, fast check in to a super comfy bed and great night's sleep. And the bonus was fantastic water pressure in the shower :)

Hotel and room are pretty good but breakfast was a disaster. Two poor staff worked off their feet and a 40 minute wait for eggs and pancakes. New pillows and mattress would be good as current ones are far too soft and provide no support. However room is clean. No sign of any recycling bins though.

We stay in Queenbeyan several times a year on our way to the snowfields as it allows us to miss the late night Kangaroos, walabies and wombats. So we get in at about 9:00 pm and are gone by 6:30 - 7:00 am. we used to stay at another hotel close to the Monaro Hwy where we were less than impressed. The first time we stayed here the staff were helpful they call when it starts to get late and turn the heating on prior to arival so you are welcomed by a toasty room.
We cant parise them enough, the rooms are áffordable'but the service isn't! We keep coming back.
PS. the beds and pillows are comfy as!
