I cannot thank the management and staff at the Hilton Hotel enough for the manner in which they conducted activities during my two weeks of quarantine incarceration. The amenities inside the room were first-rate, plush and in plenty. The food served was more than sufficient, prepared in-house with thought paid to variety and the health of those stuck within a confined space. Any request was complied within a short time and always generous. I agree with all the positive reviews given by others on the thought and care those in charge at the Hilton Hotel have paid to those under quarantine.

We are here on day 6 of quarantine and I’ve been blown away by the quality of the food and the thought that has gone in to menu selection and even the package of fresh sheets etc with extra shampoo just received. Each meal is filling and healthy with lots of choices. Compared with the horror stories I’ve heard from other places I feel blessed to be here at Hilton Sydney. This surely is the gold standard. If it’s any indication of the professionalism and high standards of this hotel then it can only be recommended as a great place to stay in more normal times. Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to all the team.

I had a prepaid reservation at this hotel on the night of December 21, 2020. As the Australian borders are closed I requested in September to cancel the reservation via chat in the USA. Reservation canceled, promised full refund in 30 days. After more than 60 days I did not receive the refund, I contacted the hotel directly and incredibly they say that they did not make a refund because I did not pay for the reservation. This is total amateurism! I sent the reservation with written proof of the fact and Jessica wants a copy of this, that, a shame! If you are looking for a commercially organized hotel, avoid this, do not book in this commercial mess. If I do not receive a full refund, I will sue you at my country's court. HILTON SYDNEY is problem for me!

I am day 10 in quarantine at the Hilton. The food has been excellent. Very balanced, plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Compared to other reports, the Hilton is far far ahead. Food is prepared by chefs here and they are doing a splendid job. Thank goodness I didn’t get billeted at the Sheraton!!!

Though I haven't been staying in Sydney since Covid took off, I have stayed here off & on for many years. It is my favourite hotel in Sydney because of the great service, amazing location, on-site restaurants and bars that are destinations in their own right, a great executive lounge with amazing staff, and great rooms and suites. The Hilton loyalty programme is also one of the best around. The Hilton Sydney have recently refurbished, and I was fortunate to stay in a refurbished Relaxation Suite and Executive Corner room before Covid. I think they have done a good job. The bathrooms are the same, but are well matched with the refurbished suites and rooms. I think the corner room, which is quite similar to the standard deluxe room, had the biggest improvement from the refurbishment. The slimmer profiles of the desk and feature armchair gave the room a lot more space, and I loved the new day curtains, which were more elegant. I think it all fits very nicely with the existing bathroom well. It was really all very appealing and relaxing. The Relaxation Suite is still a fantastic suite (especially on the Pitt St corner end). It has an amazing oversized spa next to a big window which is super romantic, or ultra chillaxing for the solo traveller. The room is divided now in a more traditional one bedroom suite layout; divider with large flat screen tvs with closing sliding doors. The new layout does give two very large flat screen wall tvs in both the lounge room and bedroom, which I'm sure a lot of travellers will love, but the room is more cut in half nowadays. The more open layout previously had smaller tvs, but a more open floor plan where the views stood out more, especially at the Pitt St end, and it felt more spacious, which I did miss a little. Regardless, it is still a fantastic suite experience. I'm looking forward to resuming my staycations at Hilton Sydney once things get back to more normal. I've been fortunate to stay in Hiltons and other top hotels all around the world, and I always still look forward to the exceptional hotel experience at Hilton Sydney : ) Definitely the place to stay in Sydney with a perfect central location to everything.
