The best hotel ive stayed at in Sydney, and possibly australia. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were amazing and went above and beyond many times. No request was too small or large and they made my one night stay feel like a real break. One small comment is that i felt the music was out of place with the historic art deco interior, but maybe i am just old and not cool!.

We stayed here in february 2024 while visiting from canada and it was so perfect that we added extra days to our stay. The hotel itself is an art piece, from the immediately welcoming lobby and lively spaces to the room and rooftop it is a treat. We loved the convenient location, both for access to the trains and buses we used to get around Sydney, as well as for easy walking around the cbd and fun surrounding neighbourhoods. Everyone we dealt with, from the front desk to bellhop, bars and restaurants to housekeeping, was friendly and helpful. I am glad we chose this as our home away from home when visiting sydney.

The heritage building has been exquisitely renovated and is situated in a prime area. The onebedroom suite was roomy and light. Given the hotels location, the pool was very small, and the water temperature was extremely cold. The a la carte breakfast was excellent, and the staff was all very pleasant.

We had a great time at kimpton margot. We were able to bring our tiny furry friend along because they are petfriendly, which added to the enjoyment of our stay. It was wonderful to have our dog there while we savored the amazing cocktails and service at the rooftop bar and lobby area, both petfriendly. The rooms were cozy and contemporary, and the location is fantastic for exploring sydney. Throughout our entire visit, we were greeted by helpful personnel, and it was wonderful that they all knew our names! Without a doubt, we would return to this hotel!.

The price is very affordable. The lobby is beautiful and social hour is a great perk. The breakfast is very good but expensive. The roof pool is very small and the location is central but not in a cute area.

The hotel is quite good, the rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are excellent, however, the hotel bed is extremely firm and uncomfortable. I would give it five stars if it had a better mattress.

My partner and i came in for a weekend staycation as residents of south wales, and we couldnt have been more pleased. The room was spacious, the service was excellent, and the food across the four dining options was delicious! I was recognized as a platinum member of ihg, and the team went above and beyond to make me feel valued guests. The location is as central as you can get, with excellent public transportation connections to bondi, the harbor, and chinatown. Being a shorter building than the others, it doesnt offer too much as far as a view, hence the 4 star rating for location, but the proximity to the heart of sydney definitely made up for it. Thank you to everyone at the kimpton for making our brief visit one to remember.

A fantastic boutique hotel in the cbd of sidney. The heritage building and restoration are excellent, and what distinguishes kimpton properties from other hotels is that they welcome pets! Their motto is that if it fits into the elevator, it is welcomed at the kimpton. And unlike most other petfriendly hotels, they dont charge a pet fee, which is a nice surprise. Strongly advised!.

The lobby is stunning, exuding opulence and traditional art deco style while still maintaining a homely warmth. The rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Cant wait to see how the rooftop bar works out! My only annoying (and quite trivial) complaint is that the fitness center is confined to the basement and devoid of natural light.

I would love to stay here for four nights. The room is very spacious and has a nice design. The location is very strategic. We can go to some iconic places in Sydney on foot. Highly recommended hotel to stay when visiting Sydney.

I cant tell you its the cheapest hotel in australia, but the service and rooms are great. Large rooms and beautiful decor. You dont have a view. Its not a dealbreaker for me, but if you like a nice view, its a good idea to avoid this hotel.

We stayed at the kimpton margot for our wedding. The room and lobby were beautiful but the customer service in the lead up and after the wedding was also excellent. The rooftop is also great! Thank you again to the wonderful team.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the kimpton margot hotel in Sydney, and i cannot express how wonderful my experience was. I was welcomed with warmth and hospitality as soon as i entered the hotel, which truly set the tone for my entire stay. The first notable aspect of my stay was the impeccable service provided by the front desk staff, particularly Kevin, Devi, and Joseph. These three individuals went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was not only comfortable, but also truly memorable. Kevin, with his kind demeanor, made the checkin process seamless and easy. He provided me with a wealth of information about the hotels amenities and nearby attractions, making sure i had everything i needed for a wonderful stay in sydney. Devis attention to detail was remarkable. She anticipated my needs before i even had to ask. Her warm and friendly personality made me feel valued guest throughout my stay. Joseph, the consummate professional, was always ready to help with any request, whether it was transportation, dining recommendations, or simply ensuring that my room was always clean. I can only recommend this hotel to anyone visiting australia. Thank you for making my birthday during my business trip so memorable, and i look forward to returning to the kimpton margot in the future!.
