Awesome place, loved it. Very clean, well-presented. Spa was bigger than expected. Opposite intersection corner to Rye RSL, as well as positioned directly behind great cafes and restaurants. Room was quiet despite seeming like it was booked out. Pool looked nice (but this time of year is too cold for us to try it). TV with blu-ray and Netflix/Prime built-in. Disappointed we only stayed for one night, would have liked to have extended our visit for longer if our circumstances had permitted it!

The location is perfect! Very close to the beach with proper pedestrian street crossing for safety. Close to shops and restaurants too! You’ll love the gelato at the corner! Hotel/apartment staff were friendly, special thanks to Debbie. Apartments are in good condition, not so new but clean and presentable; decent size rooms, kitchen with utensils, bathroom with clean towels and toiletries (although we bring our own shampoos and other stuff), spacious living room, and a tv with cable. One thing I thought the apartment had was a washer and a dryer, but didn’t. I forgot to ask if they have a common area where you can wash and dry your clothes, or if it’s a service you need to pay extra. They also have a pool (clean and heated) which my son loved! Although we found the place a little bit pricy (not sure if it was hotels.com or the timing because it’s summer) we still enjoyed our stay. Just a tip - contact Debbie at the reception and ask for rates to compare with the different reservation websites before booking a stay. They might have specials and lower rates! Overall, we loved staying at Moonlight Bay Apartments. We’d definitely come back again.

Wonderful stay. Great location. Check in fast. Was given an upstairs unit but my client freaked out about the stairs. We were immediately shown a room downstairs that we ended up staying in. Would definitely stay here again
