Kerry the owner contacted us straight away the day of travel, when we arrived was beautiful and clean, what a little oasis in the middle of York, right in the middle of Town just behind the Town Hall, we could walk and enjoy York. We went to the Imperial hotel for a bit to eat great service and great food. We will be staying in the Nosh and Nod again.

Our next stay at The Nosh & Nod - Avon Terrace we would prefer to stay in a non spa room. We found it a little difficult getting into and out of spa.

Lovely room set back from the main road,clean, quiet, walking distance to restaurants and nearby hotels. A phone call confirmed the key was available when we arrived, Given a helpful suggestion for dinner on check in and pleasantly surprised as there is live entertainment at Settlers House every weekend .

This was our second stay at Nosh & Nod and we must say we will consider it again. My mother and I were spending the night in York for an event the next day. Even though we arrived after 7pm access was easily prearranged by contacting the business. The rooms are tidy, cosy and spacious. The kitchen facilities were good and we had a very peaceful stay.

Rapid self check in by phone after arrival. The rooms have a nice patio with chairs and small tables to sit in front of room. Our room had a nice large bathtub with whirlpool function. York is a lovely place for a family outing.

We stayed two nights and it was quiet and convenient to the main street of York. It had a spa, shower and a modest kitchen, which was all we needed. Staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble.

It was lovely and clean. I could do with somewhere to hang clothes and some to to put makeup and toiletries as you are trying to put makeup and do hair. Also lighting very poor but lovely clean accomodation
