The hotel appears nicer in the pictures than it does in actuality. The rooms are quite old and antiquated, so a major renovation would be required. My room had sat on taiwans balcony, which is uncommon in china. However, being very close to the island of hamian and only ten minutes from the subway station makes the location excellent. Excellent service is provided, and the receptionists speak basic english. On request, airport pickup is available.

The hotel is excellent and quite practical. There is a car available for traveling around. It is also convenient to eat. Restaurants are plentiful in the area.

Shamian scenic area is only a 10minute walk away! The amenities are excellent, the service is excellent you can check in early, and there is onsite transportation that is convenient. It is conveniently located near the subway station, with spotting opportunities for the pearl river from tavern on oahs terrace!.

The cultural park station, thirteenth line museum, and guangdong customs museum are all conveniently located nearby. I didnt feel the bustle during the spring festival on weekdays, which was a little inconvenient for me to eat. It is close to the pier and convenient to haizhu flower market across the river. You can enjoy the view of the water. The beds and bathroom facilities are clean and complete, but the decoration is dated due to its history and needs to be renovated.

I am very happy with this place! The view of the river is stunning! Its a pleasant environment. Taking the subway or bus to shamian is quite convenient. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Attentive service. I will stay here again the next time i visit gumangzhou.

The room is old but clean. Excellent location. The man at the front desk speaks english very well and has no problem communicating with foreigners. Hes amazing. Little girl is pretty and nice. Good service attitude. Very satisfied. I received a lot of clothes, very affordable. Returned with full load. Its ok that i didnt have time to visit the museum across the street, which is sadly not my thing.

Its preferable to live in the old town, which is closer to the scenic locations because the house type is a little dated. It has ethereal charm. There are parks and scenic spots close by. During the holidays, the cost is quite reasonable.

Overall, its worth the price. The room has good lighting and a view of the pearl river from the street. Both the bed and the sanitaryware are spotless. However, all facilities show signs of aging. There is easy access to transportation, and it is peaceful but prosperous in the area. Service is average.
