The room was quiet, cozy, and comfortable with a large bathroom. The owner is excellent and we had the best breakfast in the most gorgeously decorated room. Our other breakfast was mainly ruined by it. The breakfast buffet is awesome, especially the scrambled eggs! The setting is perfect with the backdrop of snow.

This hotel has a large double which is very comfortable, and we get a nice bed with a huge walk-in shower. Everything is tidy. The lady at the front desk is very pleasant to see you and the breakfast is good as at other 5 places we have been in. We will come back to stay there again.

This place was fantastic! We had a wonderful time here. The proprietor was incredibly welcoming and helpful. There are many beautiful things on display and to be purchased at the breakfast roomreception. I must admit that it was the best breakfast I've ever had, despite being unable to remain here. I would have waited there until dinnertime if there were still enough choices and choices! We were initially a little dissatisfied with our room, but not because there was something wrong with it. Simply put, you build up your expectations after entering such a beautiful apartment downstairs, and the accommodations are not as opulent as that. It wasn't ideal because we traveled by public transport, and if you intend to stay here, I would recommend a car. If we were ever in the neighborhood again, I would undoubtedly return.

This place was great for us, and I highly recommend this location! My husband and I enjoyed a weekend at the chiemsee and stayed at the hotel zur sonny. When I first saw the pictures on the internet and made a reservation for the room, I was already in love with this place, but once we got there, I was blown away by the friendliness of the family who runs the business. Every detail is taken into account here, and it creates a warm atmosphere for guests. Our room was clean and had a lovely balcony on which you could sip a glass of wine and get a firsthand understanding of the neighborhood while visiting the lake. The Chimsee region is fantastic! The incredible brunch, which is more accurately a brunch, and the lovely room where it is served, are what really differentiates this location even more!
