The hotel is nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. Wonderful views. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was yummy and beautiful sitting outside. Bus stop right at hotel is so convenient and the hike to the castle is really nice - about 3.5 miles round trip

The staff were great! We arrived very early and did not want to impose on a super early check in. They let us use the hotel parking and we walked around for a few hours. When we came back to rest (it was a hot day) in the lobby, They let us check in much earlier Than people should expect. We really appreciate their graciousness. Hotel is gorgeous and everything was immaculate. Right on the river near Altstadt. Would definitely stay here again.

A comfortable and quaint traditional German hotel. I was concerned at first because some of the reviews mentioned noise, but our room on the second floor was nice and peaceful. There is plenty of place to park even if the marked lots are full. It is an easy walk to the Burg Eltz. The owner is friendly and welcoming, and we also met a really attentive waitress in the restaurant. We are English-speaking and felt very welcome there. The breakfast was small and simple but sufficient and fresh. The owner also made fried eggs for us, which were perfectly done and delicious. We also had dinner at the restaurant and loved the wild boar sausage. I had the tarte with the sausage on it, and it was great. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Burg Eltz.

Wir sind mehr als zufrieden. Der größte Punkt vorneweg: Hervorragende Küche, abends ist das Essen einfach nur ein Genuss! Das Personal ist überaus freundlich - da merkt man teilweise auch noch die Gelassenheit eines Familienbetriebs. Was die Umgebung angeht: wer wandern möchte kommt definitiv auf seine Kosten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genutzt um sowohl die Burg Eltz als auch die Mosel zu erkunden. Alles wirklich gut erreichbar, wir sind mehr als zufrieden. Unser Zimmer war sehr fein eingerichtet, der Korkboden (ja, richtig) sorgt für ein schönes Wohlgefühl und ist außerdem trittisoliert. Bei der Sauberkeit der Zimmer gibt's es absolut nichts auszusetzen! Das einzige was man EVENTUELL bemerken könnte (ist mir persönlich egal, aber der Vollständigkeit halber sei es angemerkt) wäre die Auswahl für Vegetarier beim Frühstück. Wer dicke Buffets mit 8 verschiedenen Käsesorten, vielerlei Aufstrichen etc. gewohnt ist, muss hier etwas reduzieren. Aber ungeachtet dessen ein tolles Frühstück, bei dem das auf Wunsch frisch zubereitete Rührei um Welten besser schmeckt als vom Buffet. Wir sind sehr zufrieden abgereist und können diese schöne Gaststätte nur jedem ans Herz legen.

This was a perfect place to stay for visiting Burg Eltz. The bus from/to Hatzenburg stops directly in from of the Landhaus, and continues to Burg Eltz itself.

Hello from Ireland, I have a meal here with my extended German family in May. It was a wonderful food and service, I had a salad with venison burgers stuffed with feta cheese and caramelized onions, I love Germany, German food and drink, I work at a hotel and highly recommend this place for a nightcap. The food service is excellent, especially in terms of the kind and friendly service. When lunchtime, I loved the rich manu. The restaurant itself offers both meat and vegetarian options.

The hostess Ursula's warmth at a memorable one-night stay in the landmass neuro weirshem was all due to her friendly hospitality. She provided the finest room, excellent local hiking advice, and genuine care that is seldom seen. In the room and with breakfast, there were numerous thoughtful little touches. For a hiker, the landmass is also literally on the trail head for Burg Elt! Take a look at the windmills at the ranch next door.

Due to it's strategic location, we reserved this hotel. And it takes only a 5-minute drive to get to Burg Elt. The sizes of the rooms were ok and extremely clean. We slept well and had a fantastic fresh breakfast. The owner is a very kind and accommodating woman. We liked our diner on alien in the nearby alien area since Wierschem is a tiny city. It is suggested to make an appointment before you arrive at this bed breakfast so that the owner will be able to assist you.

Dieter was an amazing host. Room was great. Breakfast was great. Location great for Burg Eltz, but remote for other sights. Two issues on Expedia there is no laundry at the location and expedia should mention that their restaurant is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
