Anugerah Express

Pros: very cheap with good location. Got a decent cafe below and pretty good wifi connection. Bed was comfortable enough. Very cheap laundry rates. Cons: breakfast at the cafe was slightly below average. No buffet and the food was cold.

Stayed for one night. Reponsive receptionist and bellboy. Spacious room but aged, especially the curtain, bathroom door, blanket añd pillows (they need to renew those things)~~actually the room looks good enough in the picture but not in reality. it's rejoined with the coffee shop which is very stylish for young age.

Front Desk: Responsive and pretty fast during the check in process. Check out process was also fast. I highly recommend this hotel for a short transit My advice is don't let guest walk out just like that before checking if there is anything missing in the room. Take a few minutes to check if there's anything missing in the room. It's a small room so it shouldn't take forever to be checked. Also, another thing that bothered me was, I asked for a hair dryer, the front desk said my friend who is in the other room next door, is using the hair dryer and that I should ask for it after she is done using it. Um, only 1 hair dryer throughout the whole hotel? Room: The room is pretty small but it's good enough for business travelers or just short transit like we did. The bathroom is very small. The sink is small. Uncomfortable for me because I'm a woman with many bath amenities to carry with me. The cup provided were stained and that made it seems dirty. The location of the hotel is very good and easily accessed. It's near by many food places. The bathroom isn't provided with extra cups so you can brush your teeth with and the room is ONLY provided with 1 cup, and basically everything for one person. I'm not sure why. My room doesn't even have a pair of sandals let alone two pairs. The toothbrush kit was only one in the bathroom. I suggest you have to mention to the front desk to have it prepared for two if you're travelling with someone else other than yourself. Be aware of the bathroom, it is SEE THROUGH. the door has a small transparent part of it. I am not sure if it's plastic or glass but it's part of the bathroom door. so people in your room can definitely see you showering because the standing shower is also glass door-ed? if you know what I mean. The water in the bathroom also takes forever to adjust to the temperature desired. I LOVE THEIR PILLOWS, if you are the type of people that can't go to sleep with high fluffy pillows then you'll find their pillows just right for you. for cleanliness, it's clean enough. no sheet stains. no weird smell. Wifi in the room is also good. AC working properly as well. Food and Beverage: I took a look at the menu for room service. It's pretty cheap but I didn't order any because we were going out to explore the food in Lampung therefore I didn't get the chance to judge the taste nor to see how big the portion was for a cheap price so I can't really call it cheap yet. For Breakfast, they served, soto ayam, nasi goreng, kwetiau goreng, bubur, fruits, and toast. NASI GORENG was good! kwetiau was bland. (please improve that), bubur was also good! i had melon, it was sweet! but they didn't refill it so be proactive to keep checking the food on display. soto ayam was.. ok. not that bad. the toast had choices of jam, butter or strawberry jam. then there was the usual coffee and tea. The restaurant was also 24/7. But when I was there it's doing renovation on the bar part and also the front parking lot. I hope it'll be done by my next visit cause it's not appropriate to work on it while there are guests eating their breakfast near by. (of course it's going to be near by, small space after all) Note: Don't be surprised by how small the room is, I definitely got the picture of the room just by reading the previous reviews from other people. I've stayed in a small hotel like this in Bandung, the size of the room is definitely about the same. If you've stayed in Vio Hotel in Bandung, then yes that's the hotel I'm talking about. Be aware of the morning nuisance. I woke up to the sound of a whistle, apparently there were cops in front of the hotel blowing whistles doing traffic control. It was a monday morning. I am not sure if the cops going to be there everyday including the weekends. I stayed in their Superior Room (#303). They said what differentiate the Standard Room and the Superior Room is just the view. As for the size, they are the same. Standard Room is facing the hotel hall way while the Superior Room is facing the street. Who opens the window anyway? I mean I don't so I didn't care but my friend booked the hotel for me so whatever. I will definitely come back to this hotel for my next trip to Lampung. Thank You Anugerah Express Hotel

I stayed here for 2 days to celebrate New Year's event in Bandar Lampung. I love staying at this budget hotel, staffs are friendly and helpful, super great location and our room were surprisingly spacious! Strong wifi connection in my room. Breakfast is ok and no shower cap provided for toilet amenities which is important for female guest like me, however hairdryer is provided by request. Overall, it's so nice staying at Anugerah Express Hotel Bandar Lampung!

This hotel was suitable for transit only. We stayed for a nights on the way to danau ranau. Room very small, clean but it smell smokes very strong. They don't have a non smoking room. Breakfast was deliver to room due to fasting months. We got fried rice and froed noodle and toast. The breakfast was tasteless. The room price quite expensive for budget hotel. Many hotel in Raden Intan sell below the rate from Anugerah Express. Better stay at another hotel with cheaper price.
