Our 4-night stay in Arasatu was wonderful and we definitely will stay there again if we came again to Maratua! They offer excellent customer service and nothing beats the ocean view and direct access to the ocean like what Arasatu floating villa offers. Our mom joined us and she has trouble walking due to her osteoporosis. The hotel staffs especially Pak Agus Salim (GM) were all respectful and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We were touched by his humble kindness and down to earth attitude. His customer service was above and beyond and he frequently approached us to ensure that our stays were comfortable. We still remember how Pak Agus Salim and the hotel staff personally assisted our mom to board the boat safely! We left the hotel with a positive note and making our stay an unforgettable one. Thanks for everything!

Full of hospitality. The floating villas are amazing but be careful of the slippery stairs. Wi-fi is extremely poor.

Arasatu Villas and Sanctuary is located in Maratua Island, East Kalimantan. The villa offers a 24-hour front desk, free internet access, restaurant and bar.

The air-conditioned rooms are equipped with king size bed, electric kettle, bluetooth sound bar, and complimentary drinks. With private terrace fitted with double bed loungers, outdoor rain shower, over-the-water hammock, and stairs to the ocean.

The semi-open bathroom features a walk-in rain shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, and expanded toiletries in an eco-friendly pouch.

Buffet and American breakfast are provided every morning at the villa.

Guests can take a bicycle tours around the island or diving packages at Cocoral Diving Centre. Other simple yet fascinating activities to enjoy are the stunning ocean-viewing through our rooms’ see-through glass door and stargazing experience through the roof window.

Arasatu Villas and Sanctuary is approximately 1 hour away from Samarinda, Tarakan, and Berau Regency by plane or 3 hours away from Berau Regency by speedboat. With our shuttle bus service that will pick guests up from airport or harbor all the way to the villa.
