Saya nginap di hotel ini 3 malam dgn harga 1.6 jt /malam, karena di website tertera luasnya 65m2, jadi saya mengambilnya ada dua kamar, ternyata setelah check in kamarnya seperinya kecil, mungkin 45m2. saya datang jam 2, cuman kamarnya belum ready dan terpaksa nunggu 2 jam di lobby, dan akhirnya diberikan kamar pengganti...(mungkin iti kamarnya jadi mengecil...) kolam renangnya tidak ramah dengan tamu hotel, ketika saya menunggu anak-anak yg berenang, saya di usir petugasnya dgn kasar karena tidak memakai gelang, padahal tidak mandi hanya menjaga, harusnya ada kebijakan bahwa tamu hotel boleh menunggu di sekitar kolam renang karena kolam tersebur berada di dalam hotel. Apa setiap tamu yg cuman mau lihat dan jalan2 di sekitar kolam harus pakai gelang dgn menebusnya 80ribu...? untuk makanan standar aja tidak banyak variasinya, harusnya bisa ditingkatkan lagi. Jadi untuk harga yg ditawarkan/malam tidak layak atas hasil yg didapatkan sebagai tamu..

BTW Kamarnya kcl bgt g sesuai dg price :) 2. kami tlp mnta handuk dn gnti teko listrik. smpe 30 mnt nunggu g ad yg dtg pdhl kami mw kejar wktu utk renang krna ud sore.(pelayanan lambat bgt) 3. kami putuskan keluar dr km dn lsg renang. trnyt STAF MASUK KE KMR LSG karna tba" kami lihat handuk d wc bertambah. bukannya gmna tp klo ad brg hilang mw tuduh sp lg? utg tdk ad yg berharga d kmr. Lokasi sangat strategis tapi itu utk kelengkapan kamar saya kasih nilai 1 karena ketika sy masuk kamar tidak tersedia keset kaki, gelas, tisu, tempat sampah.....bisa dibayangkan kan yg syvsebutkan itu harusnya sudah tersedia saat tamu masuk kamar....ketika dihubungi minta dilengkapi to low respon sampe saya menghubungi ke 3 dengan nada kesal itu juga yg diantar hanya keset kaki...kemudian syvtelp lagi utk dilengkapi...bayangkan tempat sampah itu kan penting sekali to tidak tersedia di dlm kamar mandi dan juga di dlm kamar....harganya mahal luar biasa to pelayanan nol.....

Check in lama banget alasan nyiapin kamar smpe hampir 1jam,pas sudah 1 jam di tanya ulang ujung2nya di ganti kamarnya, belum siap sama sekali, pelayannya kurang ramah dari sejam itu dah nanya 3kali yg 2 kali cm suruh nunggu yg ujung2nya kamar di tuker, klo emg mau di tuker dr awal knp suruh nunggu.

Kekurangannya : Harga overprice. Kamar tidak kedap suara, menurut saya ruangan kamar cukup sempit seperti kamar-kamar hotel bintang 3, ac kurang dingin, pilihan chanel tv sedikit. Untuk menu sarapan buffet minim sekali pilihannya, lagi-lagi seperti bintang 3, hanya ada 2 lauk, bahkan salad bar tidak ada, kopinya pun adalah kopi sachet (sesuai dengan keterangan yang tertulis di bar) yang sudah di buka dan di masukan kedalam wadah atau toples. Proses checkin kamar yang cukup lama, dikarenakan antrian, & petugas front office hanya 1 orang, padahal sedang long weekend, seharusnya manajemen bisa menempatkan petugas lebih dari 1. & untuk harga yang cukup tinggi ini harusnya bisa mendapatkan fasilitas waterboom. Kelebihan : Lokasi menjadi 1 dengan mal terbesar di balikpapan. Kamar bersih, tempat tidur nyaman, air panas dan dingin berfungsi dengan baik. Restoran & cafenya asik buat nongkrong. Free biaya parkir selama menginap.

Saya suka dengan lokasinya yang dekat dengan pusat perbelanjaan Tapi... Kamar tidak sesuai dengan harapan, harga mahal yang saya bayar tidak mendapatkan fasilitas kamar yang sesuai, kamar yang sempit dan kamar mandi yang kotor... Sangat tidak recomend sekali untuk yang berlibur dengan keluarga.

This hotel are suitable for family. Hotel with nice pool and waterboom, attach to mall, best location in town. Room a little bit small for four stars hotel. A little bit confused about the hotel lobby, that you need to level 7 for hotel area. Staff are great. Water drain in bathroom are pathetic, its flooded all around the bathroom.

In general, the room/toilet is small and not well maintained. If you are fussy about marks and stains on the walls and doors, this is not a hotel for you. Various rust marks across the room as well. The bin was not emptied. Breakfast spread is decent but doesn't taste good. I would rate this hotel more three star than four star. In general, will not recommend this hotel unless you need a mall nearby, and a swimming pool that has slides.

I class this as a mudguard on a car .... shinny on top but muddy underneath...... 5 nights here is more than enough..... royal suite .. not !!!! .... very average even by Indonesian standards.... room service very slow ... house keeping even slower...,. Running repairs to everything while I was there .... food yer that was a plus ... but when you have to teach the girl that does your eggs how to make pouched eggs ... there's a problem!!!!! ... cheap enough but ! Location pretty central.... plaza not far away ... taxi service ok but paying for parking every time you get a taxi to the front door .. mmmmmm !!! .....staff friendly enough to help ...., pool .. to much clohorine ... I wonder why ... maybe it was to hide the smell ...

Was on a business trip to Balikpapan, happened to see this hotel in the Pentacity mall campus, made arrangements for booking. Reached on a Sunday evening, taxi from airport to hotel 70k. Hotel has two entrances, the North Tower (adjacent to Starbucks of pentacity mall) and South tower (opposite to Ruby Towers apartments). Reception functions at the 7th floor for both the towers separately. The Aqua swimming pool cum theme park with water slides is just between reception and restaurant Aqva Palm. Check in was swift. Room at 11th floor access through elevator by card access only. Good safety. Rooms looked new, toiletries OK (dental kits, shower cap, shaving kit, lotion, comb, disposable bag for sanitary purposes, ear buds, etc) Hand wash lotion canister, shampoo canister and body gel canister were available and topped up regularly. Towels though not great quality were neat, clean and a pair kept. Slippers were of surprisingly good quality with the Astara mark. At the south tower were sea view rooms with Ruby towers blocking the complete view. Room service was fine, restaurant bfast is OK. Food taste is fine but variety could be brought in. The restaurant has a lounge bar, good with arrangements for smoking outside. I believe the rates could be brought down a little for a parity to value you get. I would appreciate the Malaysian duty manager who stepped in over a confusion at the restaurant on room charging. Good person with great presence of mind. Restaurant and bar staff are working hard, especially that little girl at the kitchen with a Gilbab and Lion, the bar tender. My appreciation to Dewi and all restaurant staff for locating my credit cards box at the restaurant and bringing it to my room. I would have been in trouble otherwise. Good honest people. In all I enjoyed my stay there which was for almost 12days. Will book again if I need to visit the place.

Not worth for the money. Quiet expensive compared to the services. For my long stay they didnt clean the room everyday as it should be. The floor a bit oily for a few day, already called the house keeping but they didnt seem solve that tiny problem. Just find another place to stay.
