We celebrated our wedding here and also slept a few nights there. I come from Germany an my wife is from Raja Ampat. The resort is absolutely great with fantastic water bungalows. They have air condition an a huge terrace. Also the baathroom is gigantic and eveything is clean and super fancy. The hosts, Asri and Rhyani, managed our wedding perfectly and organzied everything for us while we stayed in Germany. The food was high class indonesian food, the decoration was super nice. All guests were super happy an we were super happy about everything. Also they have three boats for day trips. Asri is a very exprienced captain and can bring you all around Raja Ampat. Can highly recommend DCoral for holiday or celebrations. THX to the Asri and Rhyani and all the staff!

We never stayed here during our holiday at raja ampat, but we did encounter a terrible experience with the owner of the resort whereby we rented a camera for underwater picture from her. Our mistake for thinking that she is a honest and good person. We never really try the camera under the water but instead just taking a normal photo on the land during the testing. We brought the camera along for our 1st snorkeling trip on that day and just less than 5 minutes (around 2-3 shots of photos), there was a sign of battery needed to be changed, which is a surprise for us since the battery is full just before we enter the water. We decided to bring up to our speed boat after we finished our snorkeling thinking that we just need to change the battery later on. After that we noticed the LCD screen of the camera was immerse with water and by then we suspected that the seal of the camera is broken even before it was rented to us. When we told the owner about the camera and explained the situation, the owner get very defensive and start to demand us to fully pay back the camera. The next day, we decided to talk to the owner calmly and showed that the seal of the camera is faulty but she refused to show up and instead sending the employee to meet us (we suspect that she is afraid to talk and meet us directly because we are able to document the whole thing for a review). When we met and talked to the employee, we showed them that indeed there is an issue with the seal with a simple experiment by dipping it into a bucket of water for less than 1 min and all the inside compartment of the camera was immersed with water. The employee kinda feel bad about it but they mentioned that the owner demand must be met because the owner is a very unreasonable and does not care about any explanation. Then we tried to call the owner directly but being rejected and finally she made the call, yelled and blamed us about the whole event without giving us any chance to reason to at all and and demand us to pay back and hung up the phone. We tried to call back again but being rejected. Finally, we decided to pay her for not wanting to drag the issue any longer since there will not be any chance to even talk calmly or reason to. Therefore, do think twice if you want to stay here. Thanks.
