I would recommend it to anyone looking for a laidback and local experience. Stayed with jarwo for 2 weeks. In our first hour there he took my buddy and me on his scooter to an unreal fish bbq place at the point. He was very helpful and hilarious, and staying with him was a real homey feel.

I stayed there for 4 nights and loved it. The owner of the hostel is very friendly and will do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I had the impression that he saw me more as a family member than as a customer. I will come back again.

The bamboo structure surrounded by trees creates a really nice jungle surf vibe. There are bugs and ants, so if those bother you, it probably wont be for you. Having said that, everything is very clean, and the half outdoor showers are great with great hot water!. The best part of the hostel though is the owner. Always happy to introduce you to town, organize tours, surf lessons, transportation, etc. Coffee, tempeh, maybe some other goodies cooked up throughout the day, as well as a basic breakfast (toasted with jams). Planned to stay for a day or two, but ended up staying a week.

I would recommend anyone to stay here. This hostel is really cool, all made of bamboo and has a perfect location. Literally 20 meters from the beach, one of the main surf spots. The owner is such a nice guy! Helps arrange travel, arranged a scooter and my trip to green canyon. A kitchen with a fridge is available and the bathrooms are also clean.

The price is worth it with the amazing hospitality and helpfulness from the hotel owner, who has a nice place to stay with a budget. We are very pleased with our 3 day stay.

The owner was so friendly and so helpful. They had nice and clean beds and comfortable showers. He even provided tempeh soy bean snacks in the afternoon. The building itself looks like bamboo, with some trees growing through it.

Nice place to stay in batu k, close to everything. Hesa is very helpful and also very nice. There is also a kitchen you can use to make a family meal at night. The place is clean, comfortable and very safe with 2 security cats who stay at the hostel all day to take care of the place.
