Overall, such a pleasant experience, and the friendly staff ensures that all needs are met! I spent one night at the Doulos Phos ship hotel, and i must say that i had a great time there. I was welcomed by their friendly staff as soon as i checked in, who made checkin easy and explained everything the ship has to offer. It was such a pleasant experience staying on a ship with an incredible history, and the rooms were immaculate and tastefully furnished. The room i stayed in had a balcony with an amazing sea view as well. They also offered a complimentary heritage tour of the ship, which was a nice way to get a behindthescenes look of the ship and its history. They had a restaurant facing the sea, which was a nice touch as i was greeted by sunsets while eating my meals.

The hotel is right next to the ferry terminal, so you can see it during your ferry ride. You can take a shuttle service to the hotel directly. The staff is friendly, and they gave us early checkin since our ferry arrived in the morning. The rooms are large and very clean. The sheets were also very comfortable. There is also a tour that runs every day at 10 am and 4 pm that gives you a glimpse of the history of the ship which is quite interesting. Breakfast was okay, but there were lots of flies, so it was quite disappointing. They also have an air rifle shooting range which is really fun! The swimming pool is an infinity pool with a view of the sea, which is really pretty.

In early february 2024, i stayed at suite with a balcony for two nights. Its a great place to spend time enjoying the scenery while sipping on a drink and a snack on the balcony with a view of the sea. The toilet in the room is quite complete, including a sanitary bag, shaving knife, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, shower cap, soap, shower gel, shampoo, cotton bud, and more. Pajamas are also provided. The entire team is courteous and helpful to visitors. Breakfast is fairly good, sometimes served as a semibuffet, and occasionally served as a full buffet. The hotel offers a free daily tour to learn the tale of mv duolos phos, make sure to inquire with the staff for the schedule if you are interested. The only negative for the entire bintan region, not just duos phos in particular, is transportation. To move around, you must reserve and pay a high price for car or taxi rental. Since the stores, hospitals, pharmacies, etc. Are not close to the lagoi resort area, make sure you bring all your personal belongings.
