2 malam disini, excellent bgt.. wlpn late check in hampir midnight, tetep disambut dgn ramah..kamar nice, rapih bersih.. staff²nya juga ramah.. breakfastnya variatif dan rasanya enak².. gym jg buka 24 jam, bs ngegym malem².. thanks fourpoints, ur doing good job 👍👍

Great stay, cozy and great room with pool view from 9th floor. What a quarantiners need is a happy stay which i got from few days of stay at Four Points Balikpapan. One of the staff name "Mas Agus" was really helpful and really fast response when you need anything.. Housekeepers also move so quick for helping all of the guests.. Keept the performance! See u when i see u..

Good room,excellent interior design,clean and comfortable room. They dont provide bathtub in deluxe,deluxe pool,and deluxe corner. The wifi connection so far is good.. The breakfast is excellent,as expected in all Marriott properies..

Fast resposes of the employee. High quality and so helpfull. Totally recomended to stay. At the moment, i need to send an hampers for my friend. And they help me to solve my problem. I travel alot and i recomend this hotel.

I really liked the hotel for its efficient staff and their attentiveness. They called almost every day to inquire whether we were comfortable with our stay or we had anything they could help with. Wonderful touch. We stayed here for quarantine, with some minor hiccups with prompt meals, there was really no complaints. The rooms were immaculately clean. We felt extremely safe. We could see efforts were made on proper hygiene. The meals were more than satisfactory. The choice of Western or Asian fare was a nice touch. We had access to the sundeck of the pool area daily for an hour if we chose to. Either that or the gym. The Gym was very clean and routinely wiped down with sanitizers. Definitely recommend this hotel. If your company housed you here for quarantine, you should have no complaints. Shout out to the in house Restaurant coordinator Eka for her attentiveness in arranging our meals. Also, the front desk reception for being ever-present at all hours. We can see that the hotel had a great culture and good morale. Good job Four Points Management team! Kudos! Will definitely recommend this hotel.

As the title indicates, it's one of the best Four Points in the Marriott portfolio. No matter as a member or ambassador, they do try to go out of their way to make you feel VIP, even when the staff might have a little trouble with communication in both English and Bahasa. The suite is lovely and was upgraded as an ambassador elite to the suite on request. (FP BPN didnt pre-upgrade me both times.) Not my favorite Four Points suite, but it's roomy, decorated nicely, and has a beautiful bathtub. I've had two different suites over two stays: one in the corner and another between two other suites. (FP BPN only has five suites and they're all on the 10th floor facing the pool and courtyard.) The living room is cute with their color scheme, but in both suites, the walls feel too bare. In the corner suite, there is a little bit of empty space that could be utilized, but I still like the living room as it's stylish and practical. The bedroom of the suite won't have any differences between each room. The headboard is beautiful as it's part of the wall along with the end tables being stylish matching the rest of the furniture. The bathroom is nice, but the sink design is just terrible in use, but nice looking. I would prefer to change the sink entirely so it doesn't make me all wet while just running the water. The shower is big enough. While I like the transparent door between the living room and bedroom, I wish it was frosted as it would allow more privacy if the living room is in use. While the closet on the other hand needs a door too. F&B at FP BPN is one of the best too. When I tried chef Boy's cooking the first time, I fell in love. His culinary skills are top notch. I would personally follow him to another hotel just to try his cooking again. They do allow special requests for new dishes you want made, but this is where communication is lacked as sometimes when you requests special dishes or alterations to dishes, communication to other staff working another day isn't there. It's like, a special request is only known by a few staff, but not all. However, Gusti knows how's to resolve issues and make sure they don't happen again showing how well fit he is on a management level. Him along with the rest of the restaurant staff, they are my favorite. Reservations and front office all have lovely friendly smiling faces, but sometimes it's tough to communicate what you might want. Numerous times, I've had to ask someone, like Gusti, to help me out resolving some issues. That shouldn't be the case as he is F&B, but he is so helpful and communicates so well that he is my go to for bigger issues. That being said, knowing Marriott systems (in comparison to other properties), more detailed orientated, and a more coherent environment would allow them to be more ironed out. Housekeeping, does a swell job keeping the room clean. Sometimes in a hurry, but that is normal for housekeeping as it's a demanding position when there are many rooms occupied. Overall, I will always return to FP BPN as it's lovely. Sometimes there have been major issues, but most of the time they have been ironed out. I hope for many future stays whenever I am in Balikpapan.
