The Old Luxury Hotel, hotel mewah klasik nan murah, namun banyak peralatan2 yang cukup tua yang agak rusak namun masih tetap berfungsi
harganya cukup murah dan makannanya cukup banyak pilihan dan enak

Spooky horror hotel . Very lame lobby . Old and dangerous elevator . Rooms are old and smell as if somebody had died in there . AC is old and not working properly . Floor has stains . Sheets are not clean . Bathroom is very badly designed . No privacy. Changed rooms 3 times still in bad room. Walls thin and door can't be locked properly . Don't come here

Well the hotel seems quite old. The rooms are normal size with a queen size bed quite comfortable (not so much the pillows). You'll have a flat screen small tv, a table and a small cupboard. For the guest amenities in the room only two bottles of water.
The bathroom it's quite weird because the toilet is inside the shower and the sink do not flush. The towels were dirty when I arrived. Complimentary toiletries are two sets of toothbrushes, two sets of hand soaps and cotton buds and also two sets of shampoo.
The breakfast only has indonesian food.

When I visited Pangkalpinang, my office only offer me this hotel due to budget issue.
So, without any doubt, I stayed there for one night. Well, lucky me.
During the night, I heard lots of noises from the next room. Sounds of people taking shower, laughing, and then snoring in the middle of the night.
The next day, when I check out, I ask the hotel staff about the activities of the guest at the room next to mine. When I asked, he told me that the room is empty. No one stayed there.
Well, he couldn't explained to me either about the noise.

You cant have many choices of hotels in Pangkal Pinang, especially if you are in average budget traveller. But Bumi Asih has it, average budget but good quality. The hotel is in the center of the town and you dont need to take a long time to buy souvenir or local culinary. But, this is not the hotel you should choose if you want to enjoy the Parai Beach, because it;s far from this hotel. I stay here just for transit from Mentok Port to Parai. The best of this hotel is the staffs. They are very kind and nice.

I dont know what is wrong with this hotel, I went to stay at this hotel once, when my aunt wedding, there was no novotel yet, or aston yet. I cant stay in the parai area since its a bit far from the church.
so, bet what, cockroaches, the bathroom is like the old movie days, the bed linen color is gray, the curtain is like those in the cheap motel. to be honest, this is should be called motel not hotel.
and for the price they're offering, 1mill per night its not the cheap!
