Huswah Transit Hotel

I believe the population of cocroaches are couple hundreds percent more than the entire humans in the building. I did’t even stayed longer than 45 mins after one of that creatures crawling on my back and finally to my face. Just no!

The place is really dirty!! Mould, dust cob webs everywhere. Dead insects on the floor and in the curtains. Paint peeling of the walls. Damp stains every where. The staff where really rude and laughed at me when i asked them things. Really not a nice place. 3 girls arrived outside in a taxi and i told them to find somewhere else because of the state of the hotel. The hotels taxi drive has a right attituide and drives like a nutter. Stay away from this place!!!

The hotel is located not too far away from the airport. It took me only 20min to the airport. That was at 6am and we meat traffic. The better place to stay if you want to access the airport fast is either POP or Amaris. The traffic jam i got stuck in was before we passed POP and Amaris, so if you stay there you will get pretty much traffic jam free in 5min to the airport. From Huswah better calculate 30min. The room is pretty much the last place in the world to stay. It's really old, non-renovated. You have your private bathroom in the room but no towels and no hot water. There is an aircon in the room, and it was working for me, even though it was looking pretty old. The bed's may have been washed, but since the whole hotel looked really dirty i decided to put my own sleeping bag on the bag and sleep without touching too much of the provided bedsheets and pillow. One more warning: There is NO internet in this hotel. Not in the lobby and not in the rooms. I walked around a bit and tried to find some open wifi's from the neighbors, but no luck. There is a big supermarket right opposite and several 24-hrs convenient stores around the corner. Maybe they have some wifi, but i didn't check that out. The opinion of the front-desk staff was, that the next internet caffee is about 1km walking distance.

with most hotels in most other places, pretty dreadful. Near Jakarta's airport for low budget, short time, it could be worse. I was appalled when I checked in but was too weary to do anything else. Later as I walked around the area and saw other hotels, I decided this was the best of the lot. At least pleasant service staff. No towels, no soap. Cool water only but then it is hot so it is all you need. Clean sheets but dirty drapes, etc. Quiet. Inexpensive. Barely tolerable for one night but... Could be so much more. Bay windows. High ceilings, Prints, etc. Needs a serious paint and cleaning job. Had satay and rice across the street. Good.

This is a super old hotel. Not value for money at all!! Everything in this hotel are old, dirty and dusty. Even you only want to stay a night, it will kill you the next day by sleeping on their old spring and sooo hurting! I will never ever get back to this hotel. Pay more money to get a better hotel, people. Trust me, you will regret it! Staying at this hotel has ruined my whole holiday! It is not a hotel, it is more like a 30 USD prison cell. They should destroy this hotel and make a new one. Book this hotel room if you want to experience a prison cell or an old mental hospital.
