We, family of four, stay at Ibis Styles Gajah Mada for one night (Dec 25, 2020) during the peak of Covid-19 in Jakarta. The Hotel was almost empty. Which suits us well.... :-). Receptionist, security guard and room boy all was courteous (as we seems to be the only guest).
We got connecting Room 918 and 920. Room is basic, but function well. Breakfast was only two choices, American and Indonesian served to room (we understood the covid-19 situation, so no complaint). For Chinese food lover, the hotel is well located. Angke Restaurant is just in front of this Hotel. And Sinar Lestari Restaurant (famous for Head Fish Soup, which is Fish Soup) is not far away. Alas, when we stayed, due to covid-19, all food establishment was closed on 7pm. So must prepare well in advance when and how to order the food. As this is a budget hotel, it meets all our expectation.
