First of all I have to say that the bed inside the room was really comfy and I had a good night's sleep. But bring your ear plugs! The staff is running up and down the hallways, chatting, laughing whatever and you can hear EVERYTHING! There is no noise isolation or whatsoever!
Also on my day of the check in I was quiet disappointed. The receptionist only spoke a handful of English words and it was not possible to communicate with him. He asked me several times for a deposit and I told him as many times that I do not have cash anymore coz I am flying out of Jakarta the next morning. I offered my drivers license as deposit, but he didn't understand me.
There was another customer who tried to help, but was also not very good with the English language, which caused further misunderstandings. The receptionist gave me the key card for my room and the other guy told me I can go to the room. So, I did.
Just when I reached the room both guys came running after me telling me check in is at 1pm. Ok, fine with me. So, I decided to sit down in the seating area on the same floor where my room was.
5 min later the guys came back telling me I was not allowed to sit there, coz the hotel boss does not like that. Excuse me, but what? I am a paying guest and cant sit down in a seating area of the hotel I already paid for? They made me go downstairs again and wait at the reception for 1.5 hrs. Unfortunately the benches there were really not comfortable and it was also pointless to go outside, coz the location is just good to get fast to the airport.
The breakfast in the morning was ok. They had a menu with a few choices, most of them with rice or noodles. Considering the low prices for fresh fruits a juice or some fruit would have been good.
After all I defo would not stay here again
