Kebetulan saat itu liftnya mati, sedangkan saya berada di lantai 4, jadi sangat kurang memuaskan.

I arrived late, they still use conventional physical key. Elevator is slow moving. The room is so big, dimmed which is ok for me, but then I notice that the bed is not that clean, I have itchy like bug bed? In several spot of my leg. The shower and closet with wooden floor with spaces, it give different feelings. The breakfast is a la carte, main course is good On that day, they give notification the fogging basement, somehow when I wake up, my room full of haze (room at high floor). So it’s really not convenient In overall it’s nice hotel but not coming back due to need a good rest.

Selalu memilih hotel ini untuk stay di jakarta karena tempatnya strategis. Ruangannya besar, staff nya sangat ramah dan helpful. Namun Yang disayangkan adalah menu sarapannya option nya terlalu sedikit. Untuk saya yang stay lebih dari 5 hari sedikit bosan dengan menu nyaa hehehe.

A very well organized and delicate hotel in Kemang area. You can feel how the owner wants to create the modern and traditional atmosphere by having mixed decoration inside. The staff are really friendly to serve you no matter in room service or at it's bistro. Though there are 12 rooms here, the overall maintenance and service are super good. A good place to stay on weekends or holidays at Kemang. Enjoy it.

Myself and my husband celebrated Valentines Day and stayed at the hotel.The rooms are very large and all unique in interior design and decoration. We were made very welcome by all the staff but looked superbly by the General Manager, Mr Stanley. We had a lovely Valentine Dinner in the evening and a good range of food was available for breakfast. Would fully recommend this hotel and hope to be back soon.

VERY UNSATISFYING!!! Come here and pool areas has been reserved for an event WITHOUT BEING INFORMED. The staffs are just doing nothing. POOR YOU KEMANG ICON! Never come back!!!! You guys better not to come here. 0 OUT OF 5!

This review is not based on an actual experience in staying at the hotel, because I never stayed there- or at least the hotel won't let me stay there. I was very interested in staying at the hotel's illusion room, and decided to ask whether the room was available in mid-December 2018, and they said it was (they said this clrearly, written via email). So I quickly booked the room. Upon my arrival, guest what? They said my room was not available because there were already guests in the room. Yes, the guests were in the room which I had booked. How on the earth could this happen? I complained about it to the guy at the front desk, and demanded for an explanation, but he just looked as confused and doesn't know anything either. So classic. I was very disappointed to be treated this way (especially when I had paid for the room). They agreed for a refund, (another process which took 2-3 days, in which I have to be one proactively asking and reminding them of the process). So much for my plans on that day...nothing from the general manager either. No apologies no nothing. I have to actually email the general manager first to get his explanation. He apologized and said the issue was from "internal front office department communication". Very puzzling, indeed. I can understand when miscommunication occurs during verbal communication, but my booking is already crystal clear. It's in the email. Were any of your front office staff even read emails? For a hotel that costs more than IDR 2 mio per night, these trivial things should not happen. Very fatal and very unprofessional. I know my hotels, so IDR 2 mio per night is equivalent to 4-5 star hotels such as Kempinski, Four Seasons, Mandarin, JW Marriot, Ritz Carlton, etc. High professionalism is very much expected when you are in this level. The general manager said I could have the illusion room for free, as a compensation. As much as I would like to accept it, then I ask myself: what's the point? What's the use? My plans were already ruined, and it's already in the past, so why should I stay in the hotel for no occasion or purpose? Upon my arrival, guest what. It's been some time that I visited this establishment. What used to me Alila run and owned, has been now become locally run and owned. Prior to check in, the staff said: we are now independent, kindly forgive us in advance to any shortage of delivery that you may experience. Now, that statement makes me wonder or worry how bad can they be now that is independently owned. But thankfully, it was not all that bad but, there are areas which can be improved. The main road is right now underway of expansion so there are works going on, in Agoda, it was not indicated so honesty should be kept because I would still have stayed at the premise regardless. The location is at the T junction of Kemang Raya. Brace yourself for insane traffic during nights, it's a busy area so do take note. But it's littered with trendy cafes and eateries in the vicinity. Rooms - what I had was the Ivory. But as there are only 12 rooms in the whole establishment, it'll be nice that we can get to see the rooms as it is not labelled as: courtyard suites generically. There were so many images that indicated Courtyard Suites and some of the images showed a bigger and better room which I thought I paid for. Clean and big room made me happy but the size of the TV was sorry to say, A JOKE. Granted that a guest here should not focus on watching the TV rather than enjoying the facilities and also location environment but to provide a HUGE room with a 24" TV was just ridiculous! The design of the room plugs were also odd with all power plugs being used for lights the such. Ironic how I had to use a light dedicated plug for the kettle because the coffee area had NO plugs. The room was encased in external glass but as it's literally a handshake away from the next building, security can be compromised. How about adding another layer of dead glass to current glass layer that can be opened? Apply 2 way glass treatment on that for privacy. Also, this will reduce noise pollution from neighborhood and also the main Street. Room amenities were quite bare. Yes there were water and coffee facilities but the shower gel were not topped up. The towels were cream looking ( not that it's that colour but white has turned into pale and tired cream!) The room slippers were similar of that in POP hotel. In a nutshell - where is the opulance?! It's a boutique hotel. The room was nothing but not. Slapping a nice rug and white everything hardly justifies it as such. Decor - it was quite interesting but many spaces were oddly left alone to its own devices. It's like a white elephant. What a waste of perfectly fine space! It could be made more interesting - this I leave to the management employees. Food - the rooftop was beautiful. At night it was great. And in the day, it's inviting. So we had dinner and bfast there and I have no complaints on the quality and standards of food. Staff - all friendly and helpful, I have no complaints as well. Overall, it's sad to see an icon as such being undertaken locally but not allowed to fully show it's potential. My comments, I feel, should they be met, will surely put Icon up to its previous glory again. 4/5 stars due to my comments above but otherwise, it could have been a 5star experience from me.
