Ok kesini buat staycation karena rasanya lelah dengan kehidupan yang fana ini dan ingin rasanya aku menghempaskan semua beban hidup. Pertama aku kira ini hotelnya jauh dari rumah dan ternyata deket banget hahah, naik gojek atau ngesot juga sampe. Pas pertama masuk dan sampai lobby gak kayak hotel bintang 4 dan securitynya luntang lantung gak jelas gak nyambut tamu. Pas masuk langsung checkin receptionisnya ramah, kamar aku suka banget bersih toiletnya juga nyaman pake banget. Kolam renang besar dan airnya dingin brrrr, breakfast enak banget tapi karena lagi kondisi pandemi makannya gak buffet tapi kita milih ada 3 set pilihan (Indonesia, Western, Oriental).

Menginap dadakan disini, pelayanannya oke karena staf mengusahakan agar saya dapat kamar sesuai pesanan (king size bed). Breakfast cukup nyaman, karena basically kita bisa tetap customize pesanan semau kita, gak cuma ngambil. Dapat kamar di lantai 25, viewnya bagus dan kamarnya super bersih. Overall, sangat worth the price dan menyenangkan pengalamannya.

The room was clean. Staff were helpful and polite. Food was great. AC was good. The view was great. Laundry was good. The location is great, near HLP airport and easy to visit a few locations before leaving. All of this made my quarantine stay easier.

1. Stayed over night booked through Traveloka and I’m quite sure that I pressed the right booking choose 1 double bed then when process checked in I repeat the order that I requested for 1 double bed. When I came inside the actual bed twin share but the real was join bed. I reassure again about the bed with the Housekeeping staff at the corridor whether is it real 1 bed or Twin become join bed the staff said “Yes twin bed but we made join become 1 bed” Actually Im okay with that condition but at least during arrival just inform “we only have twin bed but the bed already join or whatever bla bla bla” than yes the room was double bed. 2. I requested ice bucket around 8.30 pm the staff said there was charged for ice bucket 10.000 IDR I’m also okay if there was a charge. But the next day before checkout around 10.30 am I requested again for Ice when I want to pay the person said that there was NO CHARGE. 3. Calling at 9pm asked for bathrobe, the staff said that we provide only 1 bathrobe in the room. But actually no bathrobe set up in the room then he said will send to room. Then waiting more than 1 hour I called again to make sure then the staff said that “Im sorry sir due to your room superior type we not provide for your room but we give you for this time only for next stay we won’t give you” How come if the room not provide the bathrobe when I first called staff said will delivered to room ??? 4. Breakfast time request for omellete half baked until 3 times, but failed I think it was not omellete but its like Telur Dadar because it was so dry, might be the person incharge still is a trainee so she did not know how to make omelette then the 4th time finally made it for omellete. 5. And the toilet so smelly its like rotten eggs.

Because of the current corona quarantine obligation, we are forced to stay in a hotel upon arrival in Indonesia. To avoid airport hassle we made advanced reservation. However upon arrival in the airport, the hotel customer relation person was not clearly visible. Addressing him, he was rather not polite nor professional. He informed he could not help us as there was no electricity in the hotel, having been cut by PLN. My experience is that this only happens when not having paid the bill, which in Mercure case could not be imagined. In case of blackouts, one assumes the hotel to have a backup generator (genset), so guests could be accomodated. In this case, we ended up with being offered other venues, more expensive and further away from the originally booked venue. No prior communications about the situation, by email, telephone, sms, Whatsapp, etc. So, in the end we had to deal with the hassle we had wanted to avoid in the first place. Welcome to Indonesia, someone wispered, however this does not conform to our contemporary experience with hotels in Indonesia. Also, the hotel customer relation person was not clearly visible. With a reservation confirmed we would have expected management to arrange alternative solutions So we very much regret, even more as comments from former guests seem mostly positive. And please don't bother to invite us for a next visit, we will not be tempted after this disaster.

Had great WFH for a week here, Quiet room, clean and comfy! Also enjoyed their well maintained gym and swimming pool after work. Love the view of gatot subroto street from my room at night (2307). eventhough i ordered smoking room yet not even a reek of smoke odor coming from room for the first time i had accessed the room. Too bad the gili bar near the swimming pool had to closed down during covid, since it had great view and wind breeze at sunset. Really looking forward to stay here again!

Covid-19 has changed everything in human's life. Flew from Amsterdam back to Indonesia with compulsory quarantine for 6 days and 5 nights. Choose Mercure Gatot Subroto on package with no regrets. Package included in-room daily breakfast, 2 times PCR test, 40% on all room service and 10 pcs of laundry during stay. Staffs were friendly and polite.
