A very nice stay. We visited a few other hotels whilst there and the favehotel was the brightest and most modern - from the public area point of view. Yes, it is smaller than some but overall, I was glad I was staying there and not at one of the others.
The only let down was the menu in the restaurant. Breakfast was good. As well as the Indonesian offerings there was toast, eggs, cereal, croissants and coffee for us westerners. But the menu shown on the website was not the menu given - and there was no non-spicy or western style dishes to choose from. Which is why we visited other hotels for dinner. We found one that did a very nice pizza one evening.
I know that sampling local cuisine is part of the experience but sometimes us simple westerners need some simple food.
