Ketika saat check-in perlu waktu yang lama untuk menunggu kamar yang tersedia , kurang lebih saya menunggu 45 Menit baru bisa check-in ..

Hotel yang sangat luar biasa.
Begitu datang langsung disambut dengan hangat oleh staffnya.
Hotelnya sangat bersih, sangat mengedepankan protokol kesehatan ditengah pandemi ini.
Kamarnya luas, bersih, ac dingin.
Pokoknya keluarga saya sangat senang sekali menginap disini.
Lokasinya juga juara!
Dekat dengan mall, disekitar hotel juga banyak yang jual makanan.
Kurangnya cuma lift yang ke basement cuma 1 jadi antrinya lama.
Tapi keseluruhan mantab banget pokoknya.

This was not my first stay here as i visited Semarang really often about 2 years ago where i always stayed at Novotel as AccorPlus member.
It is quite an old building but well maintained. It could do a refreshment to keep its 4* standard but in general still acceptable.
Health protocol in the breakfast restaurant is good.

In this Java - bali holiday trip, I stayed in six different accors hotel + 2 non accor hotel. I am please to say that Novotel Semarang is apply highest safety standard for covid procedure.
Compare to my 2019 visit, I look some improvement in the hotel interior. Breakfast, room and services are remain good. Javanese traditional jamu is my favorite one.

Stayed as Accorplus member.
I found the hotel not represent as Novotel or 4 star hotel.
Limited car park, there's NO business center..as business traveler can't print docs.
Only 1 shower soap was provided per day, they make quest to take shower once a day. If need more shower soap, they expect guest to call for request.
Anyway hotel's location is good, it's located in the central of city.

I stayed for 2 nights at Novotel Semarang. While I got quite a good rate for the stay, yet I found some things need to be improved.
Rooms were not cleaned, toiletries and room amenities were not restocked.
Only bath towels are provided and they were saggy looking. No tissue, no hand/face towels, no hand soap.
I asked a heavy parcel to be delivered to my room, yet I was asked to pick it up by myself as there were no staff available, without being offered any lorry.
Breakfast is very basic for a 4 star hotel standard.
I hope the management put some attention to the issues.

Stayed 4 days for family holiday in Semarang. Location wise the hotel has easy access to one of the big mall which is just opposite of the hotel. There's convenient store nearby.
Breakfast not much variety and standard quality. OK but to be improved. I would suggest that if you will spend most of your time on exploring the city then you can consider this hotel for it's location and easy access. However not for staycation. Premier room interior is spacious but old-fashioned ambience. TV is still using analog technology. Hardly can see to outside because the window is covered 80% by the mildew, literally.
