The food at this hotel was excellent as usual, including a wonderful breakfast with fruit, bread, cheese, ham, tea, and other goodies. Although generally excellent, I went there with my family, and we had a great time. I have just two issues. The first is the distance from the city center. There is a free private bus from the hotel to the city center, but only twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. However, the restroom is also spotless and spacious, almost like luxury. The apartment has almost everything, including fruit, bread, cheese, ham, tea, and more! The rooms are also nice. The bathrooms are also spotless. I had only two issues. The first is the distance from the city center. The hotel has a free private bus from there to the city center, but only twice a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The other small issue was dinner one time I returned late and hungry, so I ordered a typical chicken dish. The issue wasnt the cuisine, it was the chicken, it wasnt good. However, overall, its good. We had a great time there with my family. I hope you do.

This hotel is a good drive out of Bud, which was fine for us since we wanted to be in the country, but other reviewers had issues with it's remoteness. For us, the issue wasn't the remoteness because the sounds of nature, the green surroundings and the pool were ideal, and it was near to the volcano in the north, but there were many management, evening meal or drinks options, and staffs lack of English, even though the woman was very friendly and even went out of her way to get us a simple evening meal, probably something not in her job description, which made our stay a little less pleasant. There really needed to be someone at the lobby more frequently who could provide refreshments and meal options this far out of bud, so these things should be improved. Also, the bathrooms were not completely clean and the stained table cloth hadn't been changed from one day to the next, which let down the cleanliness, which many visitors wouldn't like. However, the room was small but comfy, with a very large bed enough for me, my wife, and my son, and the pool was lovely.

This place is definitely the nicest place we've stayed so far in Bali! It's essentially a series of beautiful, classic balinesestyle luxury villas, but for a very affordable price. There are choices to stay in the luxury deluxe rooms either in the main building or in individual homes, the common suites or the dorm style room. But let me be clear, every room is furnished and built to a very high standard. We stayed in the standard assured, a big room with marble floors, a 4 poster bed, a flyscreen to and did, a wardrobe, a writing desk, a sofa, large windows, and a large bathroom with a bath and shower, hot water of course. We have a huge shaded veranda with tables and chairs, and use a communal indoor area with tables and chairs, refrigerator, sink, wifi, etc. We basically stay in one large villa, there are only 2 of these bedrooms, and if other guests come, wed share the common areas. The dorm is the same, another luxury-looking villa with a large common area, all tiled or marble flooring, a large, cool, airy common area with kitchen, very nice looking wooden tables and chairs, sofa, verandah etc. but a handful of small, very goodlooking double rooms attached. It's an amazing place! The name says it all. A great place with very kind employees! In the dorm room, the room I slept in had a double bed, a very spacious room with a shared bathroom with a bathtub. The countryside surrounding it is wonderful! It is worth the 15 minutes by bike ride from Bud! You can easily travel up north, where there are many beautiful sights to see. Or try a mountain biking excursion around. Without a doubt one of the best places I've ever stayed!.

I can't say enough good things about this place, such as the fantastic place at a very affordable price, the relaxing morning by the beautiful, large pool, the delicious breakfast at the beautiful terrace, the easy access to explore the lake water area, and the great feel of being at your own villa.
