The room we had was spacious with lots of storage space. It's in a good location - near to Jalan Jaksa & the train station.  The staff on reception were very friendly too.  If you are getting a taxi here, instruct the driver to go to Parragon Hotel which is opposite the guesthouse. Unfortunately our stay was ruined by the number of mosquitoes in the room. On arrival we killed what we thought was all of them however the next day the room was full of them again. There was no mosquito net which made it difficult for us to sleep for fear that our faces would get bitten.

There 's no signage of this property. it totally looks like a house. located infront of paragon's hotel wahid hasyim. The room was nice. But the price is quiet high for a guest house without any breakfast. But they provide kitchen to hav some hot water. Our air condition also hot, and when we asked the staff to fixed it, they said the person who incharge for the maintenance was on holiday, so there's no one to fixed it, and we need to stay with a hot ac for 2 nights. But at the other room, everything was perfect

The wahid hasyim guest house is quite difficult to find. No sign on street, just look for number 44. Our room was spacious and quite clean. The staff is helpful but a little slow. The mosquitoes are a problem, a few hours after chemical cleaning again mosquitoes in the room. Hot water and AC are good.

No sign board but the place is across the Paragon Hotel on Jl KH Wahid Hasyim. Its a quiet place with not more than 10 rooms but each room is huge for that price. Don't expect too much and you will enjoy your stay here with your small budget. No breakfast (but food is aplenty around the area) and not much service but the staff is really friendly and helpful which is a big plus point

We stayed here for 4 nights and once you get your bearings, it is a fairly central place to stay. We were surprised by the size of the rooms, not only were they huge, they were spotless and serviced on a daily basis. We stayed in one of the deluxe rooms, which is situated towards the back (Room 6 - Jasmine) and it was very quiet at night and next door to the communal kitchen you can use. It is a good idea to get the business card from the Parragon hotel across the road to tell taxi drivers where to go as the main entrance for Wahid Yashim is just marked with the number 44 on the outside. The staff/management do not offer any assistance in terms of town maps, bus tickets, or any other advice, so just go across the road to the Parragon Hotel and they are more than happy to help you. The guest house is about a 10-15 minute walk from Jalan Thamrin where all the bigger hotels/shopping malls and eateries are located. It is also less than a 3 minute walk to the train station, so you can be in Kota in about 10 minutes!
