I will definitely come back. At this hotel, we had a wonderful time. We stayed on the main floor for the first night, which faces the street, but on the second night, we could stay in a room with views of the piazza below, making the mountain view truly unique. The rooms were modest but tastefully furnished and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious dishes, including fresh mozzarella and tomato, eggs, cuts of meat, delectable sweets, and so on. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and they made us feel welcome. They even let us go down the gorge and come back to quickly wash up after checking out, using the attic room that hadn't been booked, which was really pleasant of them. It was also interesting to speak to both of them about the Armenian and Chilean customs, giving us a tiny window into that world.

We visited CAULARI for over 3 weeks and our stay was the best place to stay. The owner named Jon luca and his family work very well. They serve their guests very well. And the people in Civil are very welcoming and helpful. And then the service is amazing.

The place is the best in the whole town. It is actually at the Belvedere perspective of the town, with breathtaking views of the mountains, the gorge, the bridge at the bottom, and the historic center. It is also the beginning of one of the trails that leads to the gorge and the famous ponte del diabolo. It's only a few minutes' walk from the town center but without the traffic or noise of the town. WiFi was free and fast. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. The host was very nice. He really tried to meet all of the needs of the guests. The breakfast was fantastic, delicious and rich with a wide variety of quality food to choose from. Civil is a lovely little town to visit and Belvedere made the experience much more enjoyable.

Being here last minute turned out to be the highlight of our trip through Calabrian. The views from the rooms overlook the National Park and the premises are very close to local bars and good restaurants. There are numerous walks straight out the door, either down to the river and valleys, or up into the hills. The family is very helpful and will answer any questions, offering good recommendations and places to visit. Breakfast in the morning will require a good walk to burn off. The eggs were delicious and the pastries cakes to die for.

Early in May, we stayed one night, and we wish we could have remained longer. It had a lovely outlook and plenty of space in our triple room with a view of the gorge. The next morning's breakfast included pastries prepared by the house's woman and would have been delicious in a fine french pastry. The puff pastry shells, stuffed with preserves, were delicious. She also prepared some local-style fried eggs with paprika, I think, and capsers on toast. Have those! We walked down to the Devil's Bridge and wished we could have spent more time doing more hiking around the area. The village is also a joy to stroll in. Be sure to inquire with your host about the albanian culture in the area.

Our host double boomed our rooms. After some story telling we were offered another room instead of the one we booked. Room was in the attic so low ceikings, couple bumps on my head to remind. Extremely noisy bed and no sound proofing made for very poor sleep. There was strong smell from piping in the bathroom. Breakfast was nice. Maybe one room with the mountain view is nice too, others are not and you might not get what you are booking.
