The Al Convent is located in the center of a small but lovely village on the top of the mountains. The central station La special, to go to Cirque Terre, is only a 15-minute drive away. It is extremely relaxing to return to the village after a long day in the bustling areas. The hotel employees are very friendly and speak English. The rooms are comfortable, not too big, and very clean. Italian breakfast is served, and there are two restaurants close by. Dog-friendly.

We had a great experience when staying in the junior suite, it was far more than we were hoping for! The spa is small, but relaxing, the small town is quiet and lovely, it's best to have a motorcycle so you can drive around and explore the beaches nearby. I also enjoyed the people and the service.

Only one night in this lovely hotel in a beautiful hill top village. Our room was gorgeous with a four poster bed, the spa was the best I have experienced , staff friendly and attentive to our needs and breakfast was tasty and enough to satisfy the biggest appetite. Grazie for a wonderful stay to the whole team at IL convento.

Très bon hôtel,calme, mention particulière pour le personnel très agréable et accueillant,très belles chambres très bien aménagées, et le petit déjeuner est aussi varié qu excellent. Enfin, une mention également pour le restaurant avec lequel ils collaborent, les prix sont vraiment plus qu abordables, le personnel gentil et la nourriture d'excellente qualité.

We loved the hotel, we actually extended our stay another night. We didn't have a car and it is definitely off the beaten path. We used the local bus and many taxis to get to La Spezia. Very nice and helpful staff.

Endroit exceptionnel. Tres different de ce que l'on peut voir habituellement. Grande chambre bien decoree. Personnel serviable et agreable. On a mange une pizza au petit resto situe tout pres, super, faut pas le rater. Le seul point negatif est le trajet pour s'y rendre, mais c'est comme cela a plusieurs endroits en Italie.

Very rewarding experience, our only minor complaint is that there were no comfortable chairs in bedrooms, breakfast room or lobby. Staff was great and dinner in restaurant very superior to most hotel food. The town, Vezzano, is tiny and a welcome, charming reapite for the weary traveller.

Vi overnattet på Al Convento i to dager. Det var ingenting å utsette på hotellet dersom man ønsker å komme litt vekk fra turistvrimmelen, men fremdeles være bare noen minutter unna alt. Hotellet ligger i en sjarmerende landsby på en liten ås, og det er interessant å spasere i nabolaget. Velg riktig vei opp til hotellet dersom du ikke er redd for smale veier. Stol med andre ord ikke ubetinget på veivalget som GPS-en gir.) Det finnes både barer og dagligvarebutikker i spaseravstand. Hotellet har også en restaurant som serverte gode lokale retter. Vi tilbrakte en dag i Cinque Terre. Vi kjørte til Levanto og tok toget derfra. Hotellet har hatt flere funksjoner opp i gjennom historien, blant annet som kloster. Ombyggingen til hotel er imidlertid gjort på en utmerket måte, og komfort og histore går hand i hand. Hotellbetjeningen snakket godt engelsk og var veldig hjelpsomme. Frokosten var god og ble inntatt på verandaen. Hotellet har egen hage med solsenger hvor man kan tilbringe tiden om man ønsker det. Ville definitivt brukt same hotell dersom vi reiser til same området ved en senere anledning.
