Room was spacious, theres a free flow wine & snacks everyday, staff was very helpful & friendly. && also — the hotel is provides the salt for relaxation with many options!! We really enjoy staying here for 3D2N!! Also, hotel located really near to the bus station :)

When we got to the hotel, it was raining and the cats and dogs were really wet, and my friend was wet. My camera tetsuo was so helpful that he immediately gave us towels and a hair dryer. He speaks excellent English and always looked for all pertinent information! We don't speak Japanese, so he prepared everything like a map, schedule, and route. We can ask others if we need anything, in both English and Japanese. When we return to this lovely location, we will undoubtedly remain here.

Although being at a high altitude, we thought about staying in here again. In the spring, we visited Karuizawa and stayed at the Shinonome salon. Despite the fact that the name is confusing, I believe they wanted to refer to their hotel as a saloon but accidentally spelled it like a hairdresser. It was simple and straightforward to check out. Even though only one person was on duty when we arrived late in the evening, they were ready to go. We were given a printout of our reservation. Com form for our inspection. You must haul your luggage up the stairs yourself because there are no elevators in this hotel. The elderly man who I assume is currently resides there tried to assist, but he struggled with our large baggage. You might want to request a lower floor if youre not strong and your bags are quite heavy. The motel's inconvenient feature is that you cannot wear your shoes past the lobby. You should remove your shoes, put them in the provided lockers, and instead wear the lions given the brief space. It's uncomfortable, but I can deal with it. The toilet and rooms are tiny, but they are tidy. No rollaway for a third person is feasible in this accommodation. The two beds were tiny singles. The room is clean, but the furniture has some wear and tear. We couldn't find a room with a loft, so the staff arranged for an additional sofa bed, so a futon could be laid. The blanket was quite thick, and the pillow was a bit too hard for my liking. The shower shampoo and body soap were not in the standard dispenser, but were packaged in little packets, which was not sufficient for my family. Breakfast was specially prepared for individuals, including scrambled eggs, sausages, salad, oj, and bread with butter. It was a really quiet accommodation.

We visited Kanjiwa during the off-season, and this hotel is quite peaceful. We can tell from the number of cars parked in it's parking lot and the patronage in the hotels only restaurant. The hotel is housed in a three-story building, and our room was on the top floor. The room we stayed in is western in style and has its own balcony. Except for the view of Mount Sama, there is no other view from our balcony than the main street of Kuizawa. The hotel has an onset facility and is close to the train station. It is about 23 a.m. away from the train station. Because it was off season, when we went to the restaurant to supper, only a set menu of 8, 00 yen per person plus 10 services were served. The food quality was average. We didn't try their breakfast because it was 2.500 yen per person plus service fee. We thought it was much better to go to a shopping center close to the train station. The hotel staff only speaks basic English, but we were able to understand each other. Parking at this hotel is free, but it is first come, first served. They have roughly 14 parking spaces.

I will return. My wife and I spent the night here. We frequently remain in a Roman hotel in Karuizawa, but we stayed at this hotel because we had been booked into Romans in the days before and after and needed a break from all the food. We had a second-floor room that overlooked the main road, which is a pretty good outlook. By Japanese standards, the room is enormous about 4. We are not pleased. The beds are adequate, the decor is contemporary, and the bathroom is large and well-appointed. Breakfast is served buffet-style, with a good variety of Japanese and what Japanese people usually consider to be western cuisine. Very enjoyable. Unfortunately and typically in Japanese hotels, it only has set menus, we did not eat at the French restaurant. We had dinner there, though a very nice restaurant called Kawakami is only about 100 meters away. On the ground floor are the start options. Both indoor and outdoor baths are excellent. The personnel are kind and friendly. I saw a review complaining about the 3-hour check-in, but the concordant is that the checkout time is midday. Since they have to clean the room some time, it cannot be both.

We spent two nights here. There was no early checkin and check in was at rp. We received welcome drinks as we waited for our room. We booked a large double room with two queen-size beds, a sitting room with two chairs, a to, a large cabinet, and a wardrobe. An apple to, which is useful for those who utilize those services, was given to us. However, it didn't work and they had to replace it with a new unit. The room had a spacious bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower cubicle, a toilet unit, and a sizable sink area. The modernized modern japanese toilet with a variety of functions you can press that will make a mess if you don't understand the language. We used their public spa facilities and not used the shower and bath. The spa is on the top floor and has hot tub and shower facilities like usual in these places. There is also an outdoor restroom. They provide the usual amenities. The hotel is close to karuizawa station, but if you have huge luggage it may be difficult. Despite having few to no transportation choices available, this hotel may be the norm in Japan. They serve a buffet breakfast that includes hot western and Japanese cuisine as well as chinese siu mai. scrambled eggs and small sausages were both

This place had a pleasant stay. We stayed for two nights. The checkin was at rp, and we came around 12 p.m. but no early check in. We were given welcome drinks as we waited for our room. The toilet is a modern Japanese one with several buttons that will make it more of a mess if you don't understand the language. We didn't use the shower and bath when we used their public spa facilities. The spa is on the top and level and has hot tub and shower amenities as usual in these locations. There is also an outdoor bath. They have usual amenities. The hotel is within walking distance of karuizawa station, but if you have heavy luggage it can be difficult. The hotel has limited or no transportation options, which may be the norm in Japan. They serve a buffet breakfast which includes hot Western and Japanese cuisine as well as Chinese Siu

The hotel is so quiet and romantic. It was so lovely to be greeted with kindness. The breakfast and dinner both had excellent flavor. The room was really roomy. The hotel arranged a private entrance room for an hour only once a day.. I'm going back in February 2016.

For two nights, we stayed in a triple room in the new building. The room was quite roomy, with a huge bathtub, a separate toilet, and a wonderful patio. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious after we used the chalkboard plan. Much organic food from the area and delicious European meals. Each room is given one private bath session per day, but I don't think the bathtub in our room was anything less cozy. It takes five minutes to drive from the train station or 10 minutes by bus. Please bear in mind that the double rooms in the main building have a more outdated design and you should specifically request the new section.

Overall, I still would recommend this hotel to families looking for big comfortable rooms with good service and an unbeatable location. I visited karuizawa with 3 adults and 1 child and the hotel married provided a large tatami room where we could all stay together. Tatami was great for our small child because she could run freely and safely, and the futon beds were not only comfortable but assured us that our child would be safe sleeping on the floor. Our idea was that we would be outside most of the time so we only needed these basic requirements and didn't want to spend money on a fancy hotel like the prince. So we ended up choosing married. The hotel is almost as good as it gets. Its about 25 minutes to get around the city and even near to many nature sites, such as the Shirto Falls, several museums, and the outlet is only 3 minutes away. We waited 1 hour to find a parking spot at the outlet. Anyway, the hotel ambiance feels like it was stuck in the early 1960 s luxury hotel. The bar has a very cool fireplace and attentive staff. The food was tasty and had enough variety. The worst part of this hotel is that it doesn't have an elevator. Bring a child, a stroller and several luggage was very heavy and surprisingly there was no one in front to help carry anything until we checked out.

This hotel is not luxurious and opulent, but it has large very large for Japan, well-decorated, clean, comfortable rooms at good prices. We got a room with twin beds, a seating area, and a tatami room. The shower area might be a little small for people used to western hotels, but we found it to be satisfactory. Beds are hard, but that is standard in Japan. There was no internetwifi in the room but it is free in the lobby. Our room rate included breakfast and dinner. The restaurant is French and the food is pretty good nothing special but enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was of comparable standard, although if youre a big eater, the selection might be a little small. We didn't have a car so the location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient, but it's important to the nearest train station where you can also catch buses.

The location of this hotel is decent, but the overall appearance of the hotel is a little old. A bar is only open until 10 am, and a restaurant is adjacent to the lobby area. The room size is also excellent but in dire need of some improvement. Due to its high stairway and lack of an elevator, the hotel is not wheelchair friendly and not accessible. It's a costly location, but so are all hotels in Karuizawa.

Overall, it is definitely recommended! Our time at the married karuizawa hotel was wonderful for my mother and me. We had never before found a more roomy hotel in Japan, and we could both safely open our suitcases. The beds were cozy, and the rooms were spotless. The service personnel was also extremely friendly and helpful. One of our mornings there, we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Although extremely well-kept, the hotel has some disadvantages, such as being outdated in terms of appearance and design. There was no lift on the floor above the lobby, and there was also no elevator or ramp connecting the hotel's driveway to the lobby upstairs. The concierge was kind enough to assist us with our luggage, though.
