주변의 자연과 조화롭고 조용하고 편안했습니다. 오랜 역사를 지닌 호텔 같고 잘 보존하고 있습니다. 마치 영화 속 세트장에 들어온 것 같은 기분 좋은 호텔입니다. 저녁식사로 호텔 내 일본식당 코스 요리는 정말 최고였습니다.

昔の軽井沢の様子を感じることができるクラシックホテル。車を置いて、ゆっくりブラブラと別荘が見え隠れするカラマツ林を散策できる最高の立地です。スタッフの皆さんの接客はとてももの柔らかで、親しみのある心地よいものでした。古い建物を内部リフォームされたお部屋の設備は、それなりの経年劣化が感じられますが、それも含めて「歴史のある観光地に来た」体験ができます。朝食は和食をいただきました。カウンター席が8席ほどのお店で、タイミングよくお料理が出て来ます。松花堂に盛られたおかずはどれも美味しく、目の前で焼いていただく魚の干物もとても香ばしい仕上がりでした。最後にコーヒーが出たら最高だったな。窓を開けて、小鳥のさえずりを聞きながらまどろむと、しばし軽井沢の別荘生活はこんな感じかしら？と錯覚してしまいそうな素敵な時間を過ごしました。良いホテルです。

Hotel is just off the main road. The staff were very nice to me even though I don't speak Japanese. I ended up adding breakfast to my stay and chose the Japanese breakfast option which was unique, fun, and tasty. When I checked out they offered me a ride to the train station in a shuttle and it was much better than walking. The hotel seems a bit older which gives it some charm, adds to the feeling that you are in a mountain town getaway. The main shopping area is about a 10 min walk, the pond is about a 10 min walk and the train station is about a 15 min walk. There are many bar and restaurant choices in the area, and the hotel itself has two restaurants.

旧軽井沢の雰囲気を満喫できる昔と変わらない素晴らしいホテル。朝食も大変美味しかった。フレンチトーストはここでしか食べられない特筆すべき朝食メニュー。東山魁夷や有名画家の絵画もそこかしこに飾られ、このホテルの重厚さを感じた。

The hotel is conveniently located at city center with restaurants and shops nearby. The room is spacious, tidy and clean. The building itself is in old Japan western style. It is an excellent choice to immerse myself in the Showa retro atmosphere.
