I want to write about the facilities not just the rooms but the facilities themselves. As the name suggests, they have a fantastic pool. Large enough for experienced swimmers, and section more than adequate for learning swimmers. I say learning since mark the pool man is always available for free swimming lessons. They have lounge chairs for relaxing and tables around the pool so you can feel part of the pool activities and keep an eye on your children. They recently opened a coffee bar with some delicious pastries. They also serve homemade ice cream. There is a nice dining room, bar area, and lots of conference rooms. Kudos to the manager samuel for allowing the small rotary club to use a board room for free. A great place to meet friends, swim or simply relax.

We spent nearly two weeks at Westside with a different hotel stay in another city. There was no comparison. Westside may not be opulent, but the staff is amazing, the pool is clean, and the food is good. The additional space that is currently under construction should bring the hotel to a more comfortable status. So, if you are in a small town, I recommend Westside.

This hotel has a convenient location near the highway so it has excellent value for money. This hotel has a luxury room. Other rooms are a little small, but the room is clean and welcoming. The restaurant was a bit basic, but the food was good.

Although little has created many new hotel options over the past few years, Westside is still one of the city's most tranquil, clean, and cozy options. It is also considerably quieter than other hotels in the town due to it's militant location. We had a corner room of a suitable size and a lovely seating space and desk. The hotel is well managed, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The bathroom had a nice shower, and the bed was comfortable. Westside is also one of the only hotels in town with a pool, which is well maintained and kept exceptionally clean. The food at Westside is typical Kenyan cuisine, but it is thoughtfully prepared, and the chef is always willing to take special orders. Westside highly advised.

The location is great, and the price is reasonable. The rooms are not big, so if you are traveling with a family with small kids, consider booking two rooms because the hotel does not provide baby cots. It was impossible for us to use the pool over the weekend because it was always full of non-residents. The food was good. Overall, I would recommend it.
