The Hotel is strategically located on the main bus route from Komtar to Batu Feringghi while many eateries are within walking distance, some operating 24 hours. The famous Him Heang Biscuit Shop for instance, is just opposite the Hotel. Built in 1926, it served as a home to the British colonial officers and local administrators.
