It has the best location, exactly across Pavilion shopping center, and the best Nasi lemak in breakfast menu. The staff are very helpful and kind. Always stay here when in KL.

Stayed in this property for 8 nights in Jan 21. The location of the property and the room was quite good. Looks well but the service provided was not up to par for a JW. Pre check-in Emailed them at jwmresv@ytlhotels.com.my requesting for airport transport. But there was no reply about it. Disappointing. The overall check in process was smooth, with the app asking what amenities i would require. Put in a request but upon entering the room the requested amenities were not present. So what is the point of asking what amenities that guests would like? Also, requested for a shaving kit from front desk was told they've ran out of it. There were issues with the room sound and the tv. Told the front desk, they sent a technician down and the technician told me that the room sound is from the aircon and the tv they cannot do anything about it as it is a free to air channel. When i was checking out, the front desk told me that the invoice will be emailed to me. But it has been a week and i've yet to receive any invoice. I was also asking about airport transfer during my check out. And i was advised to take grab or taxi to the airport until i strongly recommend that they get an airport service for me. They finally managed to get a Starex for me as a limo service to the airport. Overall, the service provided by the hotel can be improved significantly. One last thing, the front desk seemed to be always occupied, dialing to the front desk from the room usually takes very long.

Check in was quick although there was slight confusion at the reception, as I booked for 2 nights but the staff mentioned only for 1 night. It's nice to be upgraded to Executive King Rooms although it seems to be the case for everyone else. Room was given on level 16, comfortable and spacious with a unique bathtub. Full set of amenities provided including toiletries by Aromatherapy Associates. My room didn't come with breakfast as I chose the Mariott Bonvoy members package which comes with 2000 bonus points per night, although until today I haven't receive the bonus points (only the normal points credited). But front desk staff did mention that the breakfast was at Level 5 ballroom..so I guess I'd skip it altogether. Ordered in room dining from Tarbush, which was delicious although I almost gave up as tried calling for few attempts without being answered. The pool area was kinda deserted, no service at the pool bar whatsoever. A good thing that I had the pool for myself, until a noisy Malay family came and disrupt the peace..such a turn off as they were noisy as well as smoking and vaping.

Thanks Ed Imran Zabidi for recommending us to stay at JW Marriot KL. My kids love the room, it's so cosy. It's our 2nd time staying here & we have such a good time. Since the restaurant is under renovation, we didn't get to have our dinner but the hotel gave us a voucher so that we can come again anytime till Dec 2021. We have such a good time celebrating our New Year at JW Marriot KL.

We checked in here on Christmas Day with another 2 couples to celebrate Christmas. We got a good deal staying in King Executive Room. However we were quite disappointed during check-in. It took such a long time to check-in. Reception staff was friendly but very slow, inefficient. After queing for so long were told our bookings were cancelled, which we didn't. All bookings were messed up. Then after sometime, they managed to get it going n got our keys to the rooms. Rooms very clean, nice, comfortable. Another setback was the Housekeeping...quite unfriendly. Then encountered another hiccup..reservations for dinner for 6pax were missing from the list. After some waiting, they managed to get the table for us. The dining staffs were very friendly, helpful n nice n good food, too. Well that somehow made the day (after all the blunders n initial disappointment). Its such a nice hotel, i really hope they are able to improve on this. Hopefully it won't happen again in future.

Booked a staycation package with friends at local luxury hotel J W Marriott Kuala Lumpur on 01Jan, 1st day of 2021!! Was told about their shortfall of services over the Christmas period with long waiting time at check in, lift to the room, down to lobby, breakfast as well as check out experience, took about 30-45 min for each services. A bit hesitate and planned to cancel after all the negative feedbacks. Met with James the friendly GM and Sharon the Director Of Sales and further understand the actual situation and decided to give it a go, seeing is believing, I should trust my own experiences and judgement instead of blindly followed the rumours. Arrived hotel at 1200 for a precooked lunch at their signature Shanghai restaurant, pleasant dining experience with exceptional attention. I dropped by at reception for checking in process while waiting for the dim sum. It took me less than 20 min including the waiting time for the whole process of checking in for 4 rooms including issuing of breakfast and dinner vouchers for 8 persons. The checking in process was smooth and efficient. The waiting time for lift to restaurant at 1st floor and room was fast and normal with max 4 in a lift due to social distancing. The breakfast at lower ground floor at Mayang Room was well managed, efficient and pretty impressive set up. I am glad I tried and continued with my holiday on the New Year day with friends! All are well and happy! Memorable and no shortfall of whatsoever services heard earlier! Well done the team of J W Marriott KL! Wishing all happy and a better 2021!
