This is a cool accommodation, with great staff, and close to many dining options. The only niggle was that it was light during the night due to the high ceilings and windows.

Great hotel and location. The staff were so friendly and accomodating. Only issue were some safety concerns in the room such as stairs being uneven and slippery. Also no lifts so suitcases have to be carried up multiple staircases.

The hotel staff there were very warm and welcoming. We like the heritage style hotel a lot. Amenities and facilities were limited but enough for us. We had a pleasant stay during our 2 nights in Ipoh. Highly recommend this hotel to all visitors.

If you want to stay in a real heritage place, then this hotel is a great choice. Clean rooms, high ceilings, wooden floors, comfort and coziness. Nearby is a good place to eat breakfast.

When we arrived and checked in, the receptionists were extremely friendly. She gave us a tour of how the keycard works and showed us to our room. She is very courteous and cheerful when she sees us day after day. The room is large, has a high ceiling, and has a very heritage feel.

櫃台人員熱情有禮，把旅館當作自己的家一樣很熱情的介紹給我們，除了舒適的住宿還了解到這棟不簡單的建築。此次入住的是樓中樓，空間運用上很好，看得出旅館主人的典雅風格。比較可惜的是冰箱是共用的，房內沒有獨立的小冰箱，還有衛浴沖澡的空間如果能多個簾子或門讓水布要潑出來就更完美了。這間的地理位置也很棒，去哪裡都用走路就可以到，就連去搭火車也是走路就到~很近!!! 另外，此住宿沒有電梯，如果旅客有老年人或行動不便者，可能要考慮到這一點。

True to its name, it has a rustic feel since it’s known as a heritage stay. It’s got furniture and decor of the 1970s and has a laid back and relaxed feel. The hotel has a bird theme as its rooms are named after bird names - Swiflet Platinum, Blue Rumped Parrot etc. However, due to the road right in front of the hotel, the noise of the traffic can be quite loud, even in the middle of the night. But the hotel staff is nice enough to offer ear-plugs.
