Very enjoyable stay! We loved the somewhat open-air bathroom and the beautiful grass around the room. It was very entertaining sitting on the porch and watching the cows. At night, the stars were gorgeous. Though it’d be helpful if there was a way to get more water.

A kampung themed accommodation only has 6 units. Its a straightforward and simple design and construction. But to me, the spirit of kampung life is still strong. Returning to this village. Connect me back to nature and the simple lifestyle i used to live in. It definitely reminds me of my roots. Its a beautiful feeling to revisit.

Lovely outlook on some former padis with views of birds and buffaloes, very comfy wooden bungalows with good beds, ac and a mini fridge. Free bicycles to explore the countryside. Nice breakfast served on your patio... So much nicer than the concrete hotels on Langkawi's main strip. Would def stay here again!

If you want a unique experience, go to the Gemalai Village. We had the best time there. The cottage was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have breakfast on our terrace every morning. The nature is close to you there: you can watch water buffalos, eagles, lizards and different birds all day. There's a supermarket close to it and it's walking distance from the beach. Customer service was also excellent, we got vegetarian breakfast when requested. Just a perfect place to stay!

Really lovely traditional Malaysian bed and breakfast in a good location near Cenang centre, still nice and quiet but you can walk into town and to the beach in 10 mins. Continental style breakfast brought to your hut in the rice fields every morning, included in the price! Lovely staff, delightful private outdoor shower, cute cats, chickens, storks and water buffalo ... what more could you need?!

The house is not. The surroundings are beautiful. The indoor facilities are like a hotel. Clean bathroom and toilet. The location is close to kerisik restaurant and panai chenang sales outlets. This place is perfect for coming with friends and couples.

Will definitely return! Despite the roadside noise that kept me awake, i would still rate it five stars. This is a unique experience, especially for city residents. It was wonderful to see greenery first thing in the morning. Our family was the only occupant (1/6 units), but because our unit was close to the office, we felt quite secure. The wifi signal was strong, and i didnt notice any insects at all.

Secara keseluruhan bagus dan nilai harga atau kinerjanya juga bagus. Fasilitasnya relatif sederhana, seluruh rumah agak berantakan dan kamar bergetar saat berjalan. Kelemahan terbesar adalah terlalu berisik di sepanjang jalan.

Sebenarnya saya suka pemandangan di sini, tapi keesokan paginya ada banyak kepala nyamuk di samping bantal jadi kami langsung check out. Toiletnya tidak tertutup sepenuhnya sehingga hewan dan serangga dapat masuk, yang membuat saya merasa sangat tidak aman. Tapi staf di sini ramah.

The gemalai village is about three years old, but it has become a favorite among travelers because it is always fully booked. If you want to have a beach the sun a rustic kampung stay, check in to the gemalai village. It has the most serene view and feeling you can have, plus it is in cenang n close to the airport.

Good location close to the beach. About 10 minutes walk away. stayed in the room in September 2020 for my own birthday trip. Arrived later that evening. Booked the double-story chalet with breakfast at a discounted price through papplication. Very big comfortable. Queen-size bed. Had a good sleep. Breakfast with a view of the paddy fields. Friendly and helpful staff around to help you if you need anything. Overall a great staycation for me! Will definitely return and stay here again.

Kelebihannya adalah pemandangan yang sangat bagus, rumah kayunya sangat berbeda, lokasinya juga bagus dan dekat dengan pantai. Namun, di dalam rumah terdapat kecoa dan agak dekat dengan jalan raya, sehingga akan berisik jika ada kendaraan yang lewat.

Saya merasa seperti berada di pedesaan. Kali ini saya menginap di kabin yang tinggi. Pemandangannya sangat bagus. Saya sangat dekat dengan lahan pertanian. Saya bisa melihat sapi bergerak di dekatnya. Lucu sekali. Selama saya berjalan atau naik tangga, rumah akan bergetar hebat. Bisa juga menggonggong, sangat cocok untuk melatih ketahanan gempa. Kamar mandinya semi-outdoor, jadi pastikan untuk menutup pintunya, jika tidak banyak serangga kecil yang mudah masuk. Air di kamar mandi tidak terlalu panas dan langsung mengalir ke kolam di lantai bawah. Anda bisa langsung tahu gedung mana yang menggunakan air. Sarapan paginya enak dan juga sangat cocok untuk mengambil foto indah untuk internet. Ada dispenser air di sebelah ruang manajemen dan di TV juga ada netfllix. Ada museum beras di dekatnya yang bisa dikunjungi dan dilihat-lihat. Hanya ke pantai, lokasinya cukup bagus.

[Now - 31 December 2024] Following the Municipal Council of Langkawi regulations, the room rate per night will be subject to a heritage fee of 1 MYR for 1 and 2-star hotels, 3 MYR for 3 and 4-star hotels, and 5 MYR for 5-star hotels and will be paid upon check-in.

NOTE: Effective September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term/permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay. Please note these changes in tax structure will result in revised taxes being charged and will be payable additionally during check in.

Effective January 1, 2025, the Municipal Council of Langkawi will impose a Heritage Fee of MYR 1-10 per room per night. This tax applies to all 0 to 5-star hotels and must be paid upon check-in. During special events, such as the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace (LIMA) Exhibition, Le Tour de Langkawi, Ironman Langkawi, and Oceanman Langkawi, the Heritage Fee will increase to MYR 2-20 per room per night.
